Britta Aragon, the founder and developer of CV Skinlabs, discovered her passion for safe skincare when her father went through an 8 year battle with cancer. My experience: I waited to use this specifically after I did a peel. My skin was on fire because I had used a new brand. Restorative Skin Balm

My experience: Luckily for me, when I did this peel recently I ended up burning a tiny area on my nose a little bit. I used this salve on it to help heal the area. When CV Skinlabs means salve for Restorative Skin Balm, they are not joking. It is a very thick ointment. I applied a small amount to the area a couple of times a day for 2 days. The area cleared up and there was not the general peeling I would have expected from the usual chemical peel. It’s not something I would use very often but if I had eczema, I think this would be a great thing to have on hand. Also, if you had a baby that was prone to severe diaper rash it would be wonderful to keep in the diaper bag. I used to have a horrible problem with diaper rash and the zinc oxide ointments didn’t work for my baby. Calendula is a great anti-inflammatory, as is Arnica.
