aurora dejuliis md oxygen revitalizing cleanser

A good cleanser is an essential part of a great skincare regimen. Without a good cleanser, your skin can end up looking dull, congested and full of impurities. Not to mention that most of your makeup can remain on the skin. A cleanser acts to remove makeup, impurities and any debris from the skin so that the rest of the regimen (masks, serums and moisturizers) can do its job.

The Oxygen Revitalizing Cleanser from Aurora DeJuliis M.D. is an example of a good cleanser. It invigorates and revitalizes the skin with ginseng, orchid and glycoproteins. These ingredients stimulate the skin and promote oxygen revitalization in the skin, which is lost as we age. Japanese green tea is added to help soothe the skin. It also has aloe vera juice to help soothe the skin, rosa canina fruit extract (wild rose) which is high in Vitamin C to condition the skin. And avocado extract helps to replenish moisture in the skin.

What do I like about this cleanser? Pretty much everything! It goes on nicely, it has a lot of slip (meaning that it flows nicely and feels good). It lathers well but it isn’t made with a ton of sulfates, only one sulfate is listed. Also, it does not take a lot of cleanser to get all of my makeup off. Do not get it near the eyes though, as it does sting some. Once rinsed off (which is easy to do, the later doesn’t feel like it wants to stay on the face) my skin feels clean but not dried out. I like that this cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and clean, but not dehydrated. Some lathering cleansers can make the skin too dry. This one does not do that. My face feels ‘revitalized’ after using this cleanser, so I guess that it is doing exactly what it is supposed to do!

I have reviewed a couple of the Aurora DeJuliis M.D. products already. I reviewed the Soft Papaya & Pumpkin Masque and the Ultra Soy Peptide Cream. Both products are quite good. Take a look at my review: http://bit.ly/1fHF597.

Aurora DeJuliis M.D. Oxygen Revitalizing Cleanser retails for $45.00 (6.7 fl.oz./200 mL). The Aurora DeJuliis M.D. Skincare line is a complete line with cleansers, toners, serums, masks and treatment creams. I think it is worth checking this line out from the products I have tried. I like what I have tried out thus far and I am interested in trying out more of the line. It is available on http://www.auroradejuliismd.com/products.
