EXUVIANCE is the science of skin transformation™. EXUVIANCE® was created by Drs. Van Scott and Yu, who are widely regarded leaders in the field of cosmetic dermatology. They discovered the anti-aging benefits of glycolic acid, and not only created but patented the first Glycolic Peel. Since this ground breaking discovery, the creators of Exuviance have continued to develop many new patented anti-aging ingredients backed by evidence from numerous scientific and clinical studies. Exuviance is recognized around the world for its expert formulas that have been developed to visibly transform the skin by combining their patented innovations with the best, state of the art technologies available in dermatology today.

Exuviance has created some great items in their arsenal of anti-aging products. Today I want to talk about a product I was asked to try out, their SkinRise Bionic Tonic. This is a product that is a little bit different than most. It’s goal is to help achieve a radiant complexion. And it does this without any irritation to the skin, without any major exfoliation and without being harsh to the skin. The SkinRise Bionic Tonic enhances clarity, smoothness and firmness for the radiant complexion of our dreams. It is formulated with a triple blend of Polyhydroxy Acids and a marine botanical. This moisturizing, anti-oxidant and anti-aging tonic is the perfect start to each and every day. Just one single swipe of the Exuviance SkinRise Bionic Tonic can help you get that perfect glow to your skin. Eucalyptus and cucumber refine and stimulate the skin, while green tea extract helps to protect the skin from damaging effects of free radicals and harmful environmental factors. It has polyhydroxy acids such as Gluconolactone, Glucoheptonolactone and Lactobionic Acid. These are less irritating to the skin than regular alpha hydroxy acids. They also do not penetrate the skin as deep as alpha hydroxy acids. They work but their molecules are larger and therefore will work differently. Polyhydroxy acids reduce the look of wrinkles similar to AHAs. They work just as well as AHAs, just different. This tonic also has pro-vitamins A, C and E. These help with free radicals, they reduce the look of wrinkles too. This product is a powerful moisturizer, anti-oxidant and anti-aging tonic.

To use: On a cleansed face, take a pad from the container and swipe over the entire face. Massage in remaining surface fluid and follow with daytime moisturizer with sunscreen. This product is recommended for any skin type to help maintain a radiant complexion. Use daily.
So what is my opinion on the Exuviance SkinRise Bionic Tonic? I was skeptical at first. I did not think that the polyhydroxy acids would make much of a difference in my skin. I am used to alpha hydroxy acids. I am used to the irritation that is caused and needed to secure the anti-aging effects. However, I was surprised that I actually liked this a lot. The pad is swiped on and immediately I felt a tingling in my skin, as if it was working. I made sure to apply the full amount to the skin and then massaged it in. My skin looked and felt “radiant”, meaning it had a sort of glow to it. My skin definitely felt soft and smooth immediately and it had a shine to it that was not usually there. I think that it was glowing and radiant. It definitely was nicer looking than prior to using the pad. And it was like this every day. I feel that the pads do give the skin a nice radiant glow.

Exuviance SkinRise Bionic Tonic retails for $45.00 (per 36 pads) and is available from www.exuviance.comwww.dermstore.com, www.ulta.com and www.skinstore.com.  Exuviance is one of the brands that is under the NeoStrata Skincare company. 1. I am a true believer that good skin care prevents the signs of aging, I try and tell people that I don't have wrinkles because I started in my 30's using good medical grade products. But I will admit at 56, I've earned the right to have a little Botox from time to time! Happy New Year! Lily http://www.lilyseymour.com

    1. You are right. Good skincare really makes a differnce. I am 44 and I look like I am in my 30's. Eventually time might catch up with me but until then I am enjoying looking good. You look great by the way!
