A few months ago I reviewed the new dry spray antiperspirants that had just come onto the market (http://bit.ly/1Kln6vi). I reviewed a few of them, from Dove and from Degree. Dove just released several new scents to go with their very successful line of Dry Spray Antiperspirants. Personally, I adore these and am very happy with them. I have not gone back to the old deodorant/antiperspirants that were on the market prior to their release. Why? Because these are almost perfection. They go on and instantly dry, providing 48 hours of antiperspirant protection that you cannot get from most other products.
Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant provides all the care of Dove for softer, smoother underarms. It has the signature 1/4 moisturizing technology that Dove is so famous for. The product goes on instantly dry for a cleaner feel with no visible residue. The collection of fragrances provides 48-hour odor and wetness protection and is available in a wide variety of Dove fragrances that you will see below. I tried two of the new scents. Soothing Chamomile and Original Clean.
Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant first came out in Nourished Beauty fragrance. It now comes in 2 new fragrances, Original Clean and Soothing Chamomile. Here are descriptions of all of the fragrances that it does come in: Nourished Beauty is a bright and fizzy fragrance, opening with fruity apple notes and fresh white flowers on top of a creamy, comfortable background. Original Clean is a light, clean classic fragrance. Soothing Chamomile is an elegant citrus scent with notes of orange blossom, chamomile and delicate lily of the valley. Cool Essentials is cooling and has watery notes of freshly cut cucumber, green tea, melon which are combined with fresh floral notes to give the scent a vibrancy and refreshment. Revive is a renewing fragrance with notes that are fruity, citrus and floral. It is juicy, fresh and vibrant, vivacious, cheerful and spirited. Definitely for someone who likes to live on the edge. Beauty Finish is delicate and soft, bright fruity notes of pineapple and pear are combined with an elegant floral bouquet of freesia, jasmine and water lily. It is caring and creamy with back notes adding the finishing touches to the scent. Skin Renew is elegant and feminine. This fragrance opens with notes of lush apple and rich ylang ylang, blended with rose and complemented with hints of juicy peach. Sensitive is unscented so that it does not interfere with anyone’s delicate system. It is hypo-allergenic but may contain a masking fragrance.
What I love about this product is how quickly it dries. It is instantaneous. It also lasts for 48 hours, so you can skip a day if needed. Also, it is perfect for someone like me who does not perspire a lot. If you perspire a lot, then I would recommend another Dove product, specifically the Clinical Protection Deodorant/Antiperspirant. The Dry Spray Antiperspirant is for someone who perspires minimally, does not really need a deodorant per se, and wants a product that works quickly. Plus it leaves the skin of my underarms feeling soft and supple. That is the moisturizing technology at work! I really like the new Soothing Chamomile fragrance too. I cannot wait to try all of the other new fragrances they just came out with. Two in particular I want to try are Beauty Finish and Skin Renew which have floral notes I am particularly fond of wearing.
