Britney Spears new fragrance Maui Fantasy is an exquisite escape to Maui. The 1.7 fl.oz./100mL Eau de Toilette Spray has top notes of Bird of Paradise, Pink Grapefruit and Passion Fruit. It has middle notes of Hibiscus Petals, Cyclamen, Orange Blossom and Hawaiian Monoi (gardenia). It finishes with bottom notes of Vanilla, Coconut, Blue Musk, White Amber and Blonde Woods. It is in the floral family of fragrances.
The scent is reminiscent of a night at the beach. When you first spray on the fragrance the floral notes hit you, especially the Pink Grapefruit. Then you get the middle notes of Orange Blossom and Hawaiian Monoi. Which smell very sexy by the way. Finally it settles down to the Blue Musk and White Amber. All of the other notes are there, but to me they are not as prominent. The scent is great for any season, even winter. I say even winter, because even though it is a summer floral, it is a great scent to have in the winter to remind you of the summer season ahead. It allows you to think about the months ahead of you, the warmth coming: the sand on your toes, the warm sun on your face, drinking tropical drinks and having fun on the beach. I LOVE this fragrance for its ability to do this.
Right now I am wearing it and I smell the Blue Musk and it is so lovely. It is an adorable fragrance. Really nice. And it has a great price point for a holiday gift. The holidays are approaching and this would make a great holiday gift at this price for a wife, mother, sister, friend, daughter, or girlfriend.
