I like this serum because it is one of the first to address blue light photoaging, which is a newer aging problem that we have to deal with. Now that we use computers and smartphones a lot our faces are in front of screens all the time instead of being out in the sun. That does not mean I am saying lay off the SPF. You still need a SPF30, worn every day on the face, underneath your foundation or instead of foundation. That sunscreen needs to be broad spectrum too. However, this serum can be worn underneath that SPF during the day (and night) to help with photoaging. This serum is light and sinks right into the skin. You should notice results after about 3-4 weeks of use. The results you should notice is that your skin should appear brighter, discoloration (hyperpigmentation) should appear decreased, fine lines and wrinkles should appear lighter, dryness should decrease and skin should look and feel better all around. I noticed my skin looking better after about 3 weeks of use, my skin was not as dull. I don't have any fine lines or wrinkles, but I do have discolorations and they appear lighter too. I would recommend this serum for any skin type and that includes acneic skin because it is so light that even acneic skin can benefit from it.
