Review: grace & stella Anti-Wrinkle and Energizing Face Masks #graceandstella #antiwrinkle #energizing #facemask

(product photo courtesy of www.graceandstella.com)

6 pieces/$25.00
I received a box of these masks in my June Boxycharm box. I have at least a hundred sheet masks waiting for me to use them, but I thought I would give these a try. I am glad I did too because these masks are cooling, soothing and definitely energizing to the skin. Read below for a description of them as well as my thoughts.

As we get older, our body's natural collagen breaks down and depletes from accumulated exposure to environmental pollution, free radicals and UV rays, which cause our skin to lose its structure and strength. grace & stella's Anti-Wrinkle & Energizing Face Mask is designed to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by boosting collagen production and rejuvenating your skin. This mask help promotes glowing, vibrant skin through a boost in collagen production. It provides elasticity to the skin, helping it to appear more youthful and healthy. And it helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The mask has sodium hyaluronate, allantoin and glycerin. All of these ingredients are incredibly hydrating to the skin and actually two are humectants, which draw moisture to the skin. Allantoin is very soothing to the skin.

On cleansed and makeup-free skin, carefully apply face mask to face. Wear mask for 20 minutes. Discard mask and massage remaining essence into skin. No need to rinse. Try to place extra essence into skin my tapping it onto skin with light tapping motions. This helps hydrate and add extra energizing benefits into the skin.

Here is a photo of me wearing the mask:

I used the mask for 30 minutes actually, as my skin needed the boost. Afterwards, I found that my skin was extremely soft, supple and definitely felt energized in a way that it hadn't in a while. The mask was very cooling, which feels good in this heat. It also is a nice feeling on the face because it actually makes your skin feel like moisture is just being sucked into the skin. Afterwards I barely needed any moisturizer for the night, just a light serum and water-based moisturizer. My skin felt soothed, cooled and energized.

Review: GLOW RECIPE Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream #GLOWRECIPE #BananaSouffleCream

(product photo courtesy of www,glowrecipe.com)

1.7 fl.oz./50mL $39.00

If you've never read my blog before then you won't know what a HUGE fan I am of this K-Beauty skincare company. They utilize all fruits in their skincare and each and every product actually does what it says it will do. I own a lot of their products, purchased by myself or included in subscription boxes. Skincare should be fun. Unexpected sensorial textures, colorful packaging, and innovative ingredients is their thing. Whether you’re looking to have your own solo self-care moment, or bond with friends over a masking session, your skincare routine should make you feel stimulated and inspiredYou’re never just doing or thinking about one thing, and neither should your skincare. Each one of these products are easy-to-use hybrids that make your skin look naturally glowing and lit-from-within. GLOW RECIPE only formulates with the highest quality natural ingredients, and believe what’s not in the formula is just as important as what is. Their skincare essentials are clean, cruelty-free and free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, among others.

Today I will be reviewing their Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream. It is a soothing, lightweight moisturizer that resets, replenishes, and seals in a boost of lasting hydration without clogging pores. Great for all skin types, even acne-prone skin. This cream is that lightweight. It is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic, making it especially good for sensitive skin too. Blended with banana, chia seed, magnesium, turmeric, and cica, this sweet soufflé is your recipe for calmer, hydrated healthy-looking skin. Banana is rich in magnesium and potassium, which restores water depletion, healing manganese and the amino acid tryptophan. No wonder it's the go to fruit to rebalance the mind, skin and body. Magnesium is a mineral that calms and re-balances irritated and inflamed skin caused by external stressors and helps maintain natural moisture barrier health. Centella Asiatica or Cica or Tiger herb, known to heal dry, irritated, sensitized skin. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants. It helps soothe and calm redness, balance and brighten uneven skin tone.

Test Results Show:
After Immediate Use*
  • 97% agreed their skin felt hydrated and replenished
  • 97% agreed their skin felt more soft and smooth
  • 94% felt the formula was gentle and non-irritating

After 1 Night Use**
  • 100% agreed their skin looked and felt less stressed and less irritated
  • 96% agreed their skin looked and felt better overall
  • 96% felt this moisturizer did not clog their pores
(*36 Consumers, **28 Consumers)

How to use: After serum, smooth a dime-sized amount onto clean skin morning and night. Gently pat into skin until fully absorbed. When skin is looking tired or dull, mix 1 drop of Pineapple-C Bright Serum into a dime-sized amount of Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream for bright, plump, and glowing skin. When using during the day make sure to use a SPF over the moisturizer.

I absolutely adore this cream. It leaves skin soft, supple and well hydrated and moisturized without it being heavy. The moisturizer literally sinks into the skin upon impact and but even with my dry skin I don't feel as if my skin is dry at all. This is good for all skin types, even oily and acneic skins. I would recommend trying the Pineapple-C Bright Serum too with it. That would help get rid of acne scars. After using this skin is left feeling amazing. It is another GLOW RECIPE winner.

Review: GLOW RECIPE Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask #glowrecipe #avocadomelt #retinol #eyesleepingmask

(product photo courtesy of www.glowrecipe.com)

0.50 fl.oz./15mL $42.00

I am a huge fan of this K-Beauty brand. GLOW RECIPE's products work and they work quite well. All based on a bevy of fruits. Each one of their products are easy-to-use hybrids that make your skin look naturally glowing and lit-from-within They only formulate with the highest quality natural ingredients, and believe what’s not in the formula is just as important as what is. Their skincare essentials are clean, cruelty-free and free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, mineral oil, silicones, alcohol, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrance. GLOW RECIPE products are Leaping Bunny Certified Cruelty-free.

GLOW RECIPE Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask helps to eeignite the sparkle in your eyes with a gentle but powerful eye sleeping mask formulated with avocado, encapsulated retinol, coffeeberry, and niacinamide. Long-lasting actives release throughout all hours of the night to help moisturize, brighten, fight fine lines, and de-puff. Could you find something better to work your eyes to miraculous looking loveliness by dawn? Doubt it. This product is good for dry, sensitive and normal skins. It helps to anti-age the eyes and prevent dullness in the eye region. Avocado is a nutrient-dense fruit rich in antioxidants such as Vitamin E & C, which both are known to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and environmental aggressors. Contains both avocado oil and extract for the ultimate soothing and nourishing experience. Encapsulated retinol helps to rejuvenate and achieve firmer-looking skin. Encapsulation allows the retinol to release smaller amounts at a time, making it more gentle than traditional retinol treatments. Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin (B3) and antioxidant that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly improve the appearance of dullness, fine lines and wrinkles, and to help brighten the appearance of dark circles. Coffeeberry is packed with antioxidants and it is the seed of the coffee plant. It helps to soothe skin, and is a natural source of caffeine that can help reduce puffiness and the appearance of dark circles.

To Use As An Eye Sleeping Mask: After cleansing, apply a pea-sized amount to the entire orbital eye area and gently pat into skin using ring finger for optimal absorption. Apply nightly. Do not layer with other eye creams. Use before applying serums. To Use As A Daytime Eye Treatment: Follow instructions above. Layer SPF that is safe for the eye area on top of the formula.

How well does it work? Very well. I have found that this eye mask does everything it says it will do. Which is: kick out dark circles, reduce puffiness, fight off fine lines and wrinkles and firm up the skin. I wear it at night only, as during the day is not the best time to wear retinol (causes sensitivity to the skin, unless you are willing to wear a good SPF on your eyes). I have found that it causes some irritation on my eyes and I use it two nights on, one night off. My eyelids are the only thing that are sensitive on my skin and cannot handle too much retinol at a time.

GLOW RECIPE Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask retails for $42.00 and can be found online at www.glowrecipe.comwww.sephora.com and SEPHORA stores. Like GLOW RECIPE on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/glowrecipe/; Follow GLOW RECIPE on Twitter: @glowrecipe/; Follow GLOW RECIPE on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/glowrecipe/; Follow GLOW RECIPE on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/glowrecipe/ and Subscribe to GLOW RECIPE on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/glowrecipe.

Review: Ivy & Elder Willow Talk Leave-In Hair Mask #ivyandelder #willowtalk #hairmask

(product photo courtesy of www.ivyandelder.com)

4 fl.oz./118mL $26.00

Ivy & Elder is an upcoming brand that believes in clean products without any parabens, sulfates, biotoxins, ecotoxins, phthalates, petrochemicals, silicones, sulfates, and fragrances. They refer to sources such as the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) and the Environmental Working Group (EWG) to carefully select their ingredients. They look for sustainable ingredients that are EcoCert verified, especially when sourcing from vulnerable regions such as the Amazon. The products are vegan and not tested on animals.

They make two products right now and I am testing both of them. Willow Talk is specially formulated to improve the health of long and growing hair by maintaining length without any breakage and split ends. It contains white willow bark which provides lightweight but deep moisture. Babassu seed oil is highly absorbent, long-lasting moisture that's soft, not slick. It adds elasticity to hair to help prevent breakage. Pracaxi seed oil conditions hair to help repair damage while making detangling a breeze (meaning less breakage and split ends). Adds beautiful, healthy shine.

To use, apply to damp, towel-dried hair before styling. Air dry for a more textured finish and blow-dry for a silkier finish. Try it for four weeks and you will never want to go back.

Here are a few pictures of my hair with the Willow Talk Leave-In Mask in my hair:

The Willow Talk Leave-In Mask makes my hair feel very soft, shiny and frizz-free. It helps to protect my hair from breaking and keeps it stronger. It also keeps the split ends from forming on my hair. Just apply a little bit at the middle to the ends, avoiding the roots of the hair. Leave in the hair without rinsing for best results. I prefer to air dry and use their Wear The Wind Wave Spray, wind my hair in a knot on my head and let it air dry for amazing beach hair. It's perfect for summer. In winter I will blow-dry my hair and brush it out.

Ivy & Elder Willow Talk Leave-In Mask retails for $24.00 and can be purchased online at www.ivyandelder.comLike Ivy & Elder on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ivyandelderbeauty/; Follow Ivy & Elder on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/ivyandelderbeauty/ and Follow Ivy & Elder on Instagram: http://instagram.com/ivyandelderbeauty.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU RETURN TO YOUR FAVOURITE SPA/ SALON! #pandemic #reopenings #salon #spa

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU RETURN TO YOUR FAVOURITE SPA/ SALON!

  – THE PUBLIC IS CONFUSED!  THE PUBLIC IS SCARED! AND THE PUBLIC IS ALSO EXCITED! but they don’t know what to do, what to think and what will happen when their favourite Spa and Salon reopens.

Much has been made of the new norm as businesses begin to open their doors to the public. We have already experienced significant impacts on our modified behaviour in examples such as self-distancing lines at checkouts, no return policies, enforced wearing of masks, interacting with staff behind shielded plexiglass and other containment measures.

“The hands-on services and treatments provided by hairdressers, aestheticians, manicurists and massage therapists are going to be especially challenged to adopt similar restrictions in an effort to protect their staff and clients,” states Jeff Alford, president of The CBON Group, Canada’s largest supplier of professional infection control products.

“One thing consumers do know is that they will likely be encountering a very different world when salons and spas start once again to take appointments,” continues Alford. The professional beauty industry is in turn going to be welcoming back a very different kind of client, one that is more aware, more educated and more scrutinizing of workplace environments and sanitizing practices in place to keep them protected. “The new norm in the age of coronavirus is going to be accompanied by social awareness where consumers assume greater responsibility for their own physical safety and personal welfare”.

The general public has witnessed protective measures imposed on them by retail stores, restaurants, banks, transit, etc. However, they have also exercised their own personal safety responses by wearing masks and gloves, shopping online, avoiding busy store hours or simply just staying at home. When salons and spas do re-open, consumers can continue taking measures to reduce the risk of infection when getting a haircut, manicure, facial or a massage.

Here are tips from Alford that he suggests the public can look for as they return to their favourite salon or spa.

Advanced Awareness of Salon/Spa Policy Changes

  1. Even before you book an appointment, you should be aware of what measures your salon or spa are taking to keep you safe while in their care. Their website, social media channels or email notifications should be announcing changes in policy that might include, required use of face masks, restrictions in services (like no hair drying), reduced (or extended) hours, no walk-ins, no waiting areas, no outside food or drinks, etc. Become familiar with those policies and make sure you’re comfortable with them before making a booking. You do not want to become a social media sensation by causing a scene when you show up and are potentially taken by surprise.

Communicate with Your Professional Beauty Facility

  1. Perhaps your local salon or spa isn’t all that tech savvy with making updates through digital media. You can also give them a call when booking your appointment and inquire about changes in policy. You can ask if staff will be wearing masks, what additional cleaning and disinfection practices are in place and whether they are undertaking any screening measures (e.g. checking for flu-like symptoms, temperature taking or filling out forms). This knowledge will give you the confidence to continue with your booking or contemplate an alternative destination. Safety is not only about you, but the practices enforced upon the people around you as well.

Before You Enter…

  1. Before entering your salon or spa, you should see notification of any changes communicated through signage or posted letters at the door or window. This will let you know that policies are being universally applied to everyone. Remember, the risk of infection does not just come from within the facility but also from other patrons.

Reception, the First Line of Defence

  1. A salon or spa’s primary objective during this outbreak is to prevent the introduction of viruses that can lead to infection. Larger establishments may have a designated greeter at the door who can screen clients before they enter the premises. Smaller salons or spas should have a physical barrier or reception desk that prevents clients from freely entering before being processed. Hand sanitizing gel, availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks and gloves, disposal of outside coffee cups, form-filling, etc. may all be part of the new norm. If these measures are not in place, you may need to ask yourself why and what other precautionary steps are not being taken to keep you safe?

Social Distancing is Possible

  1. While maintaining distance may not be possible when obtaining professional beauty services, your salon or spa should still be taking measures to respect the 2-meter separation rule whenever possible. This may include removal of waiting areas, limiting capacity and by-appointment-only service to avoid over congestion. It may also involve removal or decommissioning of every other workstation, shampooing sink, blow drying area, etc. to ensure distancing. If your salon or spa do not have these precautions in place, you may be exposing yourself to a higher risk of infection through exposure to other customers in close quarters.

Getting Ready for Your Appointment

  1. Your professional beauty provider should clean and disinfect their workstations and treatment areas between every appointment. All disposable items used with a client should be discarded. Any manicure/pedicure tools should be high level disinfected in a soaking tray. All points of client contact including work surfaces, chairs, treatment beds, face cradles, magnifying lamps, etc. should be disinfected with a Health Canada approved hospital grade disinfectant for the requisite contact time. Some products may take as long as 10 minutes to do their job, so you should be prepared to wait in between appointments. If your salon or spa has fast client turnover that does not allow for proper sanitizing protocols to take place, you should be aware of the heightened exposure to infection you may be facing.

Ask Your Professional Beauty Practitioner

  1. The coronavirus outbreak has required beauty professionals to brush up on their germ and infection prevention knowledge. Some may have already had sanitizing best practices in place prior to COVID-19, but additional training and education may now be required. There are numerous online courses available to the cosmetology trade with opportunities to receive certification. So, you should be able to engage with your professional and have them address any health-related questions. Better still, he or she should start your appointment by letting you know what measures they have in place to keep you safe prior to the commencement of any treatment or service and conclude with “do you have any questions or concerns before we get started?.  If your facility is not doing this or is unable to respond to your infection prevention questions, how safe should you feel?

In the new norm, social awareness will play an increasingly larger role to ensure you’re using the services of a salon or spa that is well positioned to protect you from the risk of infection. This is true during a pandemic like coronavirus but also during seasonal flu outbreaks or to prevent everyday infections associated with the spread of viruses, bacteria and fungi in personal care establishments. Social awareness will not only be practiced at a facility but also through word of mouth, online reviews, social media engagement, etc. to ensure your friends and family also have the same level infection prevention knowledge and monitoring. Only then, can we all know and be confident that we’ve done everything possible to contain the risk of an outbreak resurgence and keep everyone safe and protected.

Nail Hacks You Can Do At Home Without Going to the Salon

Not all nail salons are open yet, so if you’re looking for new nail hacks and designs you can do at home, you’re in luck. TheSoul Publishing has some awesome ideas on their popular 5 Minute Crafts YouTube Channel including the below:
  • Broken nail? Some toilet paper can fix that. By ripping off an edge, you can use this as a tip/nail wrap with some quick clear polish.

  • Doing a DIY French Manicure? Get a perfect line by placing a band aid over the nail you are painting.

  • Sick of having stained nails after a manicure? Painting PVA glue under your nail polish can make it easy to peel off so you can switch it up as your mood changes.

Are these a fit with anything you’re working on? Happy to share additional ideas too; let me know what you think!

Plastic Surgery In A Pandemic World: Safety Protocols Your Doctor Should Use #plasticsurgery #pandemic #safetyprotocols

Plastic Surgery In A Pandemic World:

Safety Protocols Your Doctor Should Use

People still want to look their best – even when few are looking at them. As the pandemic continues and social distancing remains an important public safety measure, cosmetic surgery is resuming across the country.

The elective medical procedure was prohibited in most states throughout the peak months of the pandemic, but the phasing in of business reopenings has brought it back. Daily operations won’t be the same as before, though, due to heightened health priorities.

“It will seem and look a little different when a patient visits the office, but the approach by the professional should always be the same: patient first,” says Dr. Scott Miller, (www.MillerCosmeticSurgery.com), a cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon. “Plastic surgery requires head, heart and hands. Head for knowledge and vision, heart for empathy, hands for technical expertise.

“Patient safety is always No. 1, but now it’s incumbent on all surgeons to ensure they and their staff leave no stone unturned when it comes to keeping their facility clean. Strict and consistent health and safety practices have to be followed every day.”

Dr. Miller discusses what safety protocols patients should now expect at a plastic surgery facility:
  • Pre-screening before arriving. Several days before a scheduled surgery, patients are pre-screened to go over their recent health. “It includes whether they have had any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, sore throat, difficulty breathing, loss of smell/taste, etc.,” Dr. Miller says. “Additionally, you need to know if they’ve traveled anywhere in the U.S. or abroad in the previous three weeks, or if they’ve had any contact with people who had symptoms. They’ll also fill out a form including these kinds of questions when they arrive.”
  • Increased sanitization. “Regular and deep sanitization efforts to keep the facilities as germ-free as possible are essential,” Dr. Miller says. “This includes continually disinfecting common areas and high-touch surfaces, starting from the front-office check-in area to each treatment and exam room before and after each patient interaction. Medical-grade air purifiers that circulate the air are very important. There are also machines that create a suction field over the head of a patient who is receiving facial injectables, clearing the air of potentially infectious particles.”
  • Strict adherence to CDC recommendations. All patients should be temperature-screened when they arrive. “And like many medical and dental offices,” Dr. Miller says, “plastic surgery facilities are limiting and staggering appointments to stay within social distancing guidelines, keeping their waiting rooms mostly sparse. New patients’ first consultations are often done by video conference. Also, patients should wait in their car until the staff is ready for their appointment.”
  • Wearing full PPE gear. “Providers and their staff will have to completely safeguard themselves and patients with increased personal protection equipment,” Dr. Miller says. “Everybody wears N95 respirator masks, gloves, scrubs, gowns and eye protection during direct patient contact. For procedures such as lip fillers, wearing an N95 mask, the surgeon’s approach is from above and the side, thus preventing close face-to-face frontal exposure and avoiding droplets in either direction.”
“People will keep wanting to help their appearance, to get a renewed look back,” Dr. Miller says. “The various ways of cosmetic surgery can still be done safely, and that’s a team effort between patient, doctor, and staff. Everybody has to pay careful attention to ensure safety."

Beautyque NYC: A New Kind of Retail Beauty Experience #beautyqueNYC #beauty #retail #shopping

Beautyque NYC: A New Kind Of Retail Beauty Experience

In the midst of the pandemic, a new way to experience beauty has launched disrupting the traditional retail space both for consumers and brands. Beautyque NYC Co-Founders Sonia Khemiri and Sylvie Giret, made a major pivot in their new interactive, virtual shopping, education and beauty brand experience for customers – all from the comfort of the consumer’s home. Both Sonia and Sylvie are French born but US-based business women who met and started collaborating together after they created their own skin care lines.

“Beautyque NYC is not only a place to shop. Before anything else, it is a place to learn about beauty, wellness and skincare and to discover new brands they connect to,” Sonia explains. “Too many times, consumers are influenced by trends or about what they should use or buy or do when it comes to beauty.”

At Beautyque, customers are given the opportunity to understand and make their own choices for beauty and wellness. “Beautyque is a non-aggressive environment where consumers can browse, attend educational or brand events, look up videos where they can hear directly from the founder what their brand is about, and choose wisely, also by discovering brands that are not necessarily popular yet, but that set new standards in their category,” Sylvie explains.

Before shopping, Beautyque’s primary mission is to help consumers understand, learn and even in some cases engage with its beauty partner brands.

“We want to bring people topics they are interested in, that makes them grow and be more confident about their beauty,” Sylvie continues. “And brands that have a solid base, mission and set of values, and of course high-quality products that deliver results.”

The store experience was important in the design for this new retail and brand experience model. “We want them to feel they are visiting a store. People miss going to a store, trying products first-hand, talking to someone to help and shopping in a nice and exciting environment,” Sonia believes. “Creating excitement is part of the shopping experience.”

Integrating a 3D virtual experience is a pivotal difference for Beautyque NYC.

“Creating a Web site is so basic and boring, and there are already plenty out there. We wanted to translate and copy what we initially wanted to create in our physical platform,” both Sonia and Sylvie explain. “We did not invent the 3D technology, but we invented the process of combining them all together. The 3D and the Web site in order to be the closest possible to a real physical experience, combining a showroom and a store experience.”

This experience model also showcases Beautyque’s brands and gives them a place where they can shine and be displayed like in a real store and test the response from consumers to their products and messages.

“With the COVID situation and the ‘new normal’ that is going to come out of it, we believed it was a natural evolution in retail, that both brands and consumers can benefit from,” Sonia adds. “As retail continues to shift, one thing for sure is that much is going to be achieved through digital, and stores will become more touchpoints and discovery places, more than ever before.”

This means that brands have the challenge to be understood and seen through the digital channels, she continues. “Beautyque helps brands with being seen, and testing and adjusting their messages to strengthen impact. The learnings and adjustments they make through Beautyque will help them adjust their own marketing and expand from there.”

Another consumer benefit for this new retail model is that people can join the BeautyQlub where they can be part of a product review and testing program, and access perks all from the comfort of their home and in one retail channel.

“As opposed to traditional stores, we do not assess our choice of brands on how much success they already  have in order to guarantee our own sales; but, according to how we can help and how their products can benefit the customer,” according to Sylvie.

Beautyque not only is about skincare and cosmetics, it is about mental empowerment, sexual health and nutrition. “As the French saying ‘Etre bien dans sa peau’ (feel good about yourself) is an overall thing that we want to offer at Beautyque,” Sonia says. “We want women and men to come and visit us to feel good no matter their age, race or skin/body issues. We are already starting to create events for mental health and nutrition. And we are planning to do much more to cover whatever makes us feel beautiful even during these tough times.”

Virtual events are a keystone to Beautyque’s educational value. To illustrate, Beautyque held an event in June with two boar-certified holistic health coaches on the topic of managing stress and anxiety both in and out of lockdown. The co-founders also hosted a live product demo with SNOW and Fresh Faced Skincare.

Moving forward, plans are to create both brand and wellness events weekly and welcome brands around Beautyque’s seven beauty pillars: Mental Empowerment; Nutrition; Sexual Wellness & Intimate Care; Skincare; Makeup; and Accessories.

“We are building Beautyque in a way that it’s a resource center for brands related to Beauty, Health and Wellness and THE SPACE to go learn and find the last best thing to make consumers feel and look more beautiful,” Sonia and Sylvie say. “In both ways, we love seeing these two communities of brands and customers thrive.”

Review: KYLIE SKIN Foaming Face Wash #KYLIESKIN #FoamingFaceWash

(product photo courtesy of www.kylieskin.com)

5 fl.oz./149mL $24.00

The other day I received the KYLIE SKIN Foaming Face Wash in my BoxyCharm box. I was very excited to try this as I had heard a lot of good things about it. I needed a new cleanser for summer and I had a feeling this one was going to be it.

KYLIE SKIN came out a few months ago and has been very popular, just like her cosmetics line. This luxurious foaming face wash is infused with ultra-nourishing kiwi seed oil, an antioxidant; Kiwi seed oil is a rich source of Vitamin C & E that helps hydrate and brighten skin and to help maintain moisture and improve elasticity. This very gentle formula cleanses skin by helping to remove dirt, oil and makeup for a fresh, bright complexion. Glycerin, a humectant that helps balance the moisture in your skin is also included. If your skin is dry, it will draw in moisture and if your skin is oily, it will help decrease the oily appearance of your skin.

To use: Take one pump only. You don't need more than one pump for your entire face. Apply to wet skin and gently massage in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

I wasn't so sure how well this cleanser would do for me. I have dry skin and most foaming face washes are too drying. However, this one was not in the least. I used one pump of the wash on wet skin and lather it up beautifully. It cleanses gently yet effectively. I prefer to use it in the morning after my skin has recharged for the night. This cleanser is the least irritating and drying foaming face wash I have ever used. I was completely shocked. My skin felt very soft and supple after using it and did not feel dry nor tight. I loved the way my skin felt. Soft and like I didn't need a toner to rebalance the pH level. I would highly recommend this for ass skin types, even acneic and sensitive skins. It definitely cleanses well and is perfect for anyone.

KYLIE SKIN Foaming Face Wash retails for $24.00 and can be purchased online at www.kylieskin.com. Like KYLIE SKIN on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kylieskin; Follow KYLIE SKIN on Twitter: @kylieskin and Follow KYLIE SKIN on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kylieskin/
