1 fl.oz./30mL $36.00

When I heard about the newest creation from BECCA COSMETICS, I knew I had to try it out. So I purchased it last week and decided to use it immediately. This is called ZERO No Pigment Virtual Foundation. It is supposed to blur imperfections so that skin looks almost perfect without any color to it whatsoever. It diffuses light around the face and gives it a soft matte finish. The foundation/skincare hybrid contains hyaluronic acid to keep skin hydrated all day long.

First, let me obvious. This is for people who already have fairly good skin. This is a CLEAR product. It is only going to cover/blur so much. Second, it goes on very creamy almost silicone like in its feel yet it doesn't have any silicones in the ingredients. I still had to use concealer under my eyes with this product as it didn't cover up the dark circles I have been developing from lack of sleep. Also, it didn't blur out all of the freckles I have on my forehead, which I was a little frustrated with. I mean really, its job is to blur, exactly what is it blurring if not the imperfections? It did blur/cover some redness I had leftover from a small blemish on my chin. So that was good.

I feel this product is a little bit expensive for what it does. It is good if you don't want to wear regular foundation and you find yourself blessed with great skin already. I happen to work on my skin a lot and have good skin. Otherwise, I would skip it. This "foundation" is not really a foundation at all but a great primer/concealer that does blur imperfections but only on a smaller level than what it says. It does give the skin a nice matte finish. And the hyaluronic acid in the formula helps keep the skin hydrated all day long. But is it worth almost $40?  I don't think so, because I would rather have a foundation that is long-wearing, covers and matches my skin tone for that amount of money. Wait and read some other reviews too and see what they say but I might skip this for now unless you are like me, blessed with good skin genes and a good skincare regimen.

Here are pics of me wearing the foundation:

  5. Do you have at least some idea that cosmetics can cause skin issues? Scents and additives are the primary fixings in cosmetics and both these substances can cause skin issues. laser eye surgery
