NYX Cosmetics Love In Paris Eye Shadow Palettes are a great way to get an almost endless number of looks without shelling out a large amount of money. These palettes have good pigmentation, soft eye shadows, little to no fallout and long wear. They come in 12 different combinations all named after the City of Lights. I was able to try out three of them, with good variations in color themes. My favorite is definitely Merci Beaucoup for pigmentation.

Looks With Love In Paris Eye Shadow Palettes:
You Are In Seine
For this look I used the shimmery brown in the crease, then the dark matte brown in the outer edge of the lid and lined the lower lid with it too. I added it in the crease for a little bit of depth. On the lid and under the brow I used the matte cream-taupe shade. I used NYX Cosmetics Liquid Brown Eyeliner from the Collection Chocolate on the upper lid to line, as it makes my eyes look larger. I used Doll Eyes Mascara in Black to give myself the fluttery lash look.
Madeleines and Macaroons
This is my favorite look. I feel the colors in here can give small eyes like mine some real depth and make them look large! I used a matte cocoa shade in the crease, then on the outer edge of the lid and under the eye I used this dark chocolate shade that really makes the eyes pop. On the lid I used the matte ballet pink shade. Under the brow I used a light champagne shimmer shade. Again I used the NYX Cosmetics Liquid Brown Eyeliner from the Collection Chocolate on the upper lid to line. I used Doll Eyes Mascara in Black to give myself the fluttery lash look, it really makes lashes look long and fluttery.
Merci Beaucoup
This palette has a lot of warm shades that can bring out the green in any eye. The rust and burgundy are great for that. For my look I used a satin medium brown in the crease. I used the burgundy shade just under that to give it a little bit of depth. In the outer corner of my lid and under the eye I used the satin dark brown. On the lid I used the shimmery rust shade. Under the brow I used a matte bone shade and blended upward. I used the Liquid Black Eyeliner from the Collection Noir on the upper lid to line my eyes.
Each of these sets has some really good eye shadows and one or two that are only okay. It is usually the lightest eye shadow in any brand I have found has pigmentation issues. This is really across the board in the cosmetics industry. NYX Cosmetics has some great eye shadows though, and they have put them into these palettes. For the price, you get some beautiful color combinations that you might not have thought to try out. From the palettes I tried, Merci Beaucoup has the best pigmentation hands down. On the website you might want to check out Parisian Chic, it has similar colors to Madeleines and Macaroons. Don’t forget to add on to the look with some eyeliners and a mascara to complete the look.
