A few months ago I reviewed some of the DNA EGF Renewal Items. I was very happy with them. The products, developed by Dr. Ronald Moy, are a skincare line based on intensive, clinically proven research that repairs damaged aging skin. This time I was able to try a new product, the sunscreen.
For a couple of weeks I have been using the DNA Defense SPF 30+, which is the sunscreen with their primary anti-aging ingredients. It is a fast absorbing, non-greasy lotion that prevents the harmful UVA/UVB rays from penetrating the skin. Its main ingredient is Zinc Oxide (a mineral sunblock that allows the sun’s rays to reflect off of the skin). It also has some chemical sunscreens and Vitamin E and Vitamin A, which are antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radical damage. I do like this sunscreen. It is light and melds into the skin quickly. Another nice thing is that I don’t seem to break out from it. Many women complain of break outs from sunscreens. It is available for $45 for 1.7 oz. from www.dnaegfrenewal.com.
The DNA Intensive Renewal is a lightweight lotion for daytime and nighttime use that has a liposome delivery system to target the skin’s aging process. The results of of this are plumper, more hydrated and healthier looking skin. The main ingredients of this lotion are: Hibiscus Peptide (helps prevent cellular breakdown), DNA Repair Enzymes (intensifies the ability of the skin to repair itself), Rapeseed Sterols (helps provide a moisture barrier to prevent a loss of hydration), Salicornia Herbacaea Extract (provides moisture), Alba Flower (anti-inflammitory) and Nonpeptide-1 (helps with hyper-pigmentation). After using this for a while I find my skin is more supple, smoothe and even toned. It is softer and well hydrated too. I have been using this at night and the sunscreen during the day. These products are great and sometimes there are wonderful promotions, so keep a look out for those if you want to take advantage of a good deal! The DNA Intensive Renewal is $125 for 1 oz. and is also available at www.dnaegfrenewal.com.
