Reveal Your Home In A New Light With GE reveal® Light Bulbs #GEReveal

Recently I was asked to trade in my boring old, electricity hogging light bulbs for the new LED environmentally friendly GE reveal® light bulbs. I was told to give them a try and see how beautiful they would make any room look. These light bulbs are engineered to filter out any dingy yellow tones and illuminate a room with a spectrum of pure light. They give the room instant brightness. If you desire to dim the room you can go from 100% to as low as 20%. A 60 watt bulb uses 11 watts of energy and can save $80 of energy costs per year, a 40 watt bulb can save as much as $88 per year and uses 8 watts of energy. These bulbs use up to 80% less energy than incandescent bulbs and contain no lead or mercury.  The energy efficiency and long life means that you will have fewer lamp replacements versus the standard incandescent or halogen light sources. The bulbs have a 5-year limited warranty for the GE reveal® 11-watt LED.

Here are some photos of my living room before I used the GE reveal® light bulbs and after I used the GE reveal® light bulbs:

BEFORE:

The room is painted olive with gold overlay. Notice how the light bulbs make the gold look more prominent and make the room look kind of yellow.

AFTER:

With the GE reveal® light bulbs the yellow tint to the room disappears and the room has a clean look. Notice we did get new furniture, that is not your imagination!

 

 

I definitely noticed a huge difference in how much the bulbs changed the light in my living room. Prior to using them my room looked yellow and dingy. Now it looks bright and the paint colors on the wall look “pure” in color. The gold paint on the wall looks like it should, gold, not olive gold.
