New! Merle Norman Breezy Easy Color For Spring! #merlenorman

This spring Merle Norman goes for an easy to achieve look with Breezy Easy Color. Pastel colors in shades of pinks and lilacs that are sheer enough to add interest but have enough pigment to add a glow to the skin. There are two eye shadow trios, I tried out the Wistful one (a semi-matte white, luminous taupe and a semi-matte lilac). The other trio consists of a luminous pink shade with a semi-matte brown and a semi-matte champagne. Add a charcoal eyeliner to the eye for definition so that eyes are not lost with the light colors. The blush is a gorgeous light pink, Fancy Free, that can be built up to add lots of color to the cheek. Having blooming cheeks with this look is a nice way to keep it innocent. With your choice of three lipsticks and a lovely gloss, you can really rock the lip. I  tried The One, this one is a beautiful deep matte pink. There is also a shimmery pink and a shimmery peach, as well as a shimmery pink gloss.

Here is the look below: I used the Wistful eye shadow trio, Fancy Free blush, Charcoal eyeliner and The One lipstick. For the eyes, I used Violet Femme on the lid with Pretty Girl in the crease and Make My Daisy under the brow. I also used a little bit of Violet Femme to line under my eyes and mixed it with the Charcoal liner that I used on the top and bottom of the eye. Fancy Free Lasting Cheekcolor was used on the cheeks and The One lipcolor on the lips.

I found the lipstick to be highly pigmented and found that it wore a very long time. I am loving this lipstick. The blush is also highly pigmented and I found that I did not have to use a lot to get good color on my cheeks. As for the eye shadow trio, it was not as pigmented as I would have liked but it did a pretty good job. I loved the purple shade and it found it to be the most pigmented of all the shades in the trio. The charcoal liner was a nice liner, it did not skip on my eyes (which are older now and need a good, smooth liner), it is very creamy and goes on nicely. All in all, I was very happy with the products.

The Eyecolor Trio is $20.00, the Age Defying Eyeliner is $14.00, the Lasting Cheekcolor is $16.00 and the Age Defying+ Lipcolor is $15.00.
