In honor of World Sight Day, October 8th, L’Occitane launched the Shea Butter Apricot Solidarity Soap. 100% of the profits* from this soap will be donated to NGOs to help fight avoidable blindness in developing countries with the support of the L’OCCITANE Foundation.. Did you know that 80% of blindness is avoidable? Today almost 285 million people in the world are visually impaired. Each year L’Occitane launches a solidarity product to help fight against avoidable blindness. This apricot-scented solidarity soap is made with shea butter to gently cleanse the skin. It also has Braille on the soap so that the word SHEA may be identified on it.
