I consider myself to be fairly lucky. The only eye concern I really have is puffy eyes. I have some dark circles but not too much. What can you do about puffy eyes? Puffy eyes are really often a matter of not enough circulation under the eye area, thus there is fluid retention causing the puffiness. The solution is often temporary but that is okay. Even a temporary solution is better than no solution at all. Sometimes you can do lymphatic massage and drain the fluid from the area but it is still only a temporary solution. Often if you don’t get enough sleep then you can get some puffiness under the eyes, and dark circles too. This is really when I seem to notice my puffiness is at its worst.
So, what can be done about eye puffiness? Well, the best ways to treat it involve using products that work for longer periods of time (minutes to a few hours). A product I particularly like is Altchek MD’s Eye Gel Pads. These pads are placed on the under eye area and worn for 30 minutes. It is best to use them prior to putting on makeup, going out, etc. This way they will make eyes look better immediately.
The Eye Gel Pads reduce the appearance of fine lines and puffiness while hydrating the sensitive skin around the eye area. These pads are a great treatment for the fragile skin of the under eye area before a night out on the town! Since they also treat fine lines, I would recommend them for those who need to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. These pads instantly refresh and revitalize tired eyes. Skin around the eyes is hydrated and replenished. Retinyl palmitate (a derivative of Vitamin A) helps to renew and improve skin’s resilience, making it less prone to fine lines and wrinkles. The pads have antioxidants that help the delicate skin resist environmental stressors. These pads contain the following ingredients: phyto collagen (plant collagen), Vitamin E, glycerin, aloe vera and allantoin. The pads have alleviating ingredients, making the pads soothing to the eyes. As the pads soothe the eyes, the puffiness disappears. Skin is left hydrated and refreshed.
So, if you suffer from puffiness, then this product is a great choice for you. Altchek MD’s Eye Gel Pads come in a package of 10 pads that retail for $20.00.
