The sunscreens in these lip balms are Butyl methoxdibenzyolmethane/Avobenzone 2.7% and Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate/Octinoxate 6.8%, these are obviously chemical in nature. If you don’t mind chemical sunscreens or are not sensitive to them, and can handle them; it’s good to have lip balms with sunscreen to help protect the lips. The skin of the lips is particularly sensitive to the sun and burns very easily.
The lip balms are moderately sheer in nature. There is enough pigment in them to show up on the lips yet not enough to provide that of a very pigmented lipstick. These are lip balms and it is the goal to be hydrating and soothing on the lips with just enough color. On the lips the lip balms do not have a waxy feel to them but more of a lipstick feel with enough color to be similar to that of a light lipstick. I love these and will wear them all summer long! Mainly because they have a SPF 25 in them so they can protect my lips and provide color that is very pretty.
Until Next Time~
