Altchek MD has a great little product that helps a number of skin concerns. It is called Doctor’s Skin Remedy. It is a multipurpose cream that softens, protects, soothes and calms the skin. I personally think this product is great because it is an ointment that treats dry skin (dry heels, elbows and chapped lips for example). It soothes, calms minor skin irritations. It helps prevent dry chapped, wind burned skin and cracked lips. It softens rough dry skin on hands, feet or cuticles. It is an all in one beauty product that adds shine to eyelids, cheeks, lips and legs. It also shapes and smoothes eyebrows. And it relieves minor sunburn and calms dry, irritated or sun-exposed skin. The wonderful ingredients in this excellent product are: petrolatum, beeswax, cocoa butter, eucalyptus oil, shea butter, Vitamin E and allantoin. It does not contain any parabens or fragrance.
I personally use this product for many different things. One is for cracks I get in the corner of my lips. I get these cracks, which I think are a Vitamin deficiency. After one or two days, the cracks have healed nicely. I have also used it for the cracks in my hands in the winter. This is a great ointment to use for just about anything. One thing I like about this product is that it sinks in and doesn’t leave a film or residue. This product is also great to use after chemical peels, as it is very soothing to the skin. Just apply over the entire face and let the ingredients do the work. It will soothe the skin and leave it feeling a hundred times better. This helps skin heal after a chemical peel.
Doctor’s Skin Remedy comes in a 1.7 oz./50 g tube and retails for $14.00. It can be purchased online at www.altchek.com. Take a look at my review of the Glycolic Renewal Pads (http://bit.ly/1u5YtUi) and the Eye Gel Pads (http://bit.ly/1HJ8SzF). Like Altchek MD on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AltchekMD.
