Future Perfect Water-Optional Cleanser
Get More From A Face Cleanser And Spa-like Massage

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

It has been a few months since I have put up a hit list. That is because I had to go through 2 back surgeries and have been kind of busy with keeping myself up right. I also have been doing some freelance writing work for an up and coming skincare company. But I did want to get this going again. This month I have a few things that I think will pique your curiosity…
1) NKD SKN Gradual Glow Daily Tan Moisturiser  #NKDSKN #selftan $14.50
NKD SKN Gradual Glow Daily Moisturizer
I am a very fair skinned person. And I have never really been the kind to be into self-tanner. Well, that is until I was given the opportunity to try NKD SKN Gradual Glow Daily Tan Moisturiser. This is the first time I have really liked a self tanning product. Mainly because this is a good product. It delivers a natural looking tan that has no orange color and it does it in just a couple of hours. It also moisturizes skin, making it soft and smooth at the same time that you are getting a gorgeous glow. The subtle glow develops over 4-8 hours and can be deepened daily. What is also so great about this product is that is has zero smell, zero transfer onto clothes and organic extracts that hydrate skin for the ultimate natural glow. It is designed for all skin types. Skin looks sun kissed. The extracts included in this great product are aloe vera which conditions and fights off aging. Shea butter has healing and conditioning properties. Lychee revitalizes with Vitamin C. I really like this product. NKD SKIN Gradual Glow Daily Tan Moisturiser retails for $14.50 and can be purchased online at www.nkdskn.com. 2) Nair Moroccan Argan Oil Precision Kit for Face & Upper Lip MSRP $8.99 #NAIR #hairremoval #moroccanarganoil
Nair Precision Kit for Face and Upper Lip with Moroccan Argan Oil
Nair Moroccan Argan Precision Kit for Face & Upper Lip is a unique, 2-Step kit that offers an easy and precise way to remove hair from the face and upper lip. It also has a gentle moisturizer to soothe and rebalance skin after the hair removal treatment. It is infused with 100% Moroccan Argan Oil for beautifully smooth, touchable skin. It comes with a contoured, precision tip applicator. The results are very thorough and it is a pain-free method to remove hair. It works similarly to the Glide Away method in that this is a depilatory, so it dissolves hair. It works even on coarse hair.
The best way to use this is to use on clean, dry skin. Apply to skin and leave on for 3-5 minutes. Apply a thick layer to skin. Do not rub in. After 5 minutes check and see if hair is removed. If hair has not come off, leave on for a few more minutes but do not leave on for more than 10 minutes. DO NOT leave on for more than 10 minutes. This is essential as it can cause chemical burns on the skin. Rinse off, dry skin and then use the second tube to moisturize skin. Do not use any AHA’s or BHA’s on skin for at least 1 day so skin has time to heal from this treatment. See my review on all of the Nair Moroccan Argan Oil line (http://bit.ly/1LHMpXu).
3) L’Occitane Immortelle Intense Cleansing Foam 5.1 fl.oz./150 mL $30.00 #LOCCITANE #IMMORTELLEL'Occitane Immortelle Intense Cleansing Foam
This cleansing foam, with its distinctive and ultra-dense texture, gently removes dirt, impurities and makeup (even waterproof). Press down on the button to release a small amount of foam (a little goes a long way). Apply in a gentle, long massage to face then rinse off. You will find that skin looks and feels clean, fresh*, and revitalized*. Use morning and night. This new cleansing ritual offers a pure moment of well-being that lets skin glow. Enriched with organic Immortelle floral water, this cleansing foam is suitable for all skin types.
*Consumer test conducted on 31 women over 4 weeks.

4) SEPHORA Craig & Karl Collection for Summer #SEPHORA #CraigandKarl

This eye shadow duo looks phenomenal on. I wore both of the ones I tried in one look, and it turned out very nice. I really liked how beautiful the look was. You can see on the left here from the photo how nicely pigmented the shadows are. The purple in Hue York goes in the crease, then the charcoal in London Eye goes below that to deepen the crease. That charcoal is placed in the outer 1/3 of the upper lid and lines the lower lid. The peach shade in the Hue York duo is placed on the upper lid and the light pink shade in the London Eye duo goes under the brow..

(here I am wearing the items I received from the Craig & Karl collection)
On my lips you see the Color Lip Last in Bold Glory, a medium pink shade that look great with the eye shadow duos in the photos. This medium pink shade is very pigmented, has a matte finish and lasts for hours upon hours. It also comes in a red called West End Swirl and a Coral called L Train Jain. Below you can see the photo of my lips with the Bold Glory shade and see how pigmented it is. Also see the photograph on the right with the entire face shown. See how nicely the color goes with the entire look. See my entire review of the items I had (http://bit.ly/1LD29de). I got so many nice complements on this look that is why I had to include it here.

5) StriVectin Repair & Protect Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 #StriVectin #moisturizer $89.00
StriVectin’s Repair & Protect Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is a supposed to be a lightweight daily moisturizer that helps to fight off signs of aging. It contains a broad spectrum SPF 30 from Avobenzone 3.0%, Homosalate 5.0%, Octisalate 5.0%, Octocrylene 2.79% and Oxybenzone 5.0%. It reduces the visible signs of aging, neutralizes free radicals and helps to prevent UV damage. This formula combines next generation anti-oxidant technology and the patented NIA-114TM molecule to enhance skin’s own innate defenses and help to boost its age fighting abilities. -

This moisturizer is slightly rich and great for anti-aging purposes. For me, as someone with normal skin, it is not as lightweight as advertised but more of a heavier cream. I apply it prior to my makeup and then wait for it to absorb into the skin so that I am not left with too much of the cream making my foundation shiny. This product not only helps to protect skin from the sun, it helps to prevent aging. It has peptides, botanical extracts, humectants, Vitamins and even lactic acid to help exfoliate some. And of course it has the patented NIA-114TM molecule associated with every StriVectin product. These are all ingredients that help to repair skin that has visible signs of aging. It is very important to wear a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 on your face every day. The sun’s rays are extremely damaging and to prevent aging you need to do this. It is the easiest thing to do to prevent aging of the skin. I think this product is very good at what it sets out to do. The ingredients in this product do repair aging that has been done to the skin and the sunscreen protects against any future aging. I would recommend this for those with dry skin who are in need of something to combat aging skin, possibly those in their late 30’s-early 40’s.

So this is my list for some of my favorite items for the month of June. I hope you like them as much as I did!
Until Next Time~
