When I received Offects Hydrating Cleanser to try out I did not know it was going to become my favorite cleanser. It looked like a very innocent product. Little did I know that this cleanser was going to become my favorite cleanser of all time. Seriously. It is that good. It hydrates and rejuvenates without disrupting the moisture barrier of the skin. It goes on smoothly, with a little bit of lather, just enough to take off makeup and cleanse the skin of dirt, debris and anything that needs to go. Using panthenol and allantoin, this cleanser soothes the skin, repairs it and restores skin to make it feel soft and whole again. It cleans away dead skin cells and allows support for cellular renewal. It also helps to stimulate collagen production in the skin. This cleanser has calming properties too. It will remove dirt, oil and makeup without leaving any residue on the skin. Use for normal to dry skins. It definitely works best for those skin types.
Key ingredients in this cleanser are sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, glycerin, sodium PCA and urea. These all hydrate and replenish moisture. The urea also acts to get rid of the dead skin cells. Allantoin soothes and calms the skin. Lipopeptide-myristoyl pentapeptide-8 is a peptide that stimulates collagen production in the skin. It has a pH of 6.5, which is in the neutral range.
It goes on creamy and when you add water it lathers up and feels luxurious. I love how my skin feels after using this product. It feels like heaven. And you only need a small amount, which makes this product even better. It is just wonderful. It is recommended that while using this cleanser to rub for at least one minute to allow for better penetration of the active ingredients. I would say this is a good idea, especially in the morning. At that time there is no makeup to be cleansing off. This product lends itself to a mild massage too.
Offects Hydrating Cleanser comes in a 5 fl.oz./150 mL tube and retails for $39.00. It can be purchased online at www.shop.zoskinhealth.com or in physicians offices that carry the line.
