Cleansing is such an important part of the skincare regimen. So it is important to have a good cleanser. The Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser is a cleanser that is meant as an anti-aging cleanser. It is great cleanser for oily skin, normal skin, dry skin, acneic skin and aging skin. It helps with hyperpigmentation, acne, redness and fine lines and wrinkles. The key ingredients in this cleanser are glycolic acid, an exfoliant and sorbitol, a humectant. This cleanser provides deep follicular (pore) cleansing and resurfacing without irritation to the skin. Immediately the skin feels more refined and smooth and hydrated. The cleanser enhances the benefits of other skincare products. It is an excellent cleanser for all skin types. It is paraben-free.
Use of this cleanser is okay for morning and evening. Gently massage a quarter size amount over dry skin. Remove it with a wet, clean, wrung out washcloth. Splash face 10-15 times with lukewarm water. Blot dry. Do not use as an eye makeup remover and keep away from eye area. Does make a great makeup remover.
I normally don’t like creamy, non-foaming cleansers. I like surfactants and detergents to help clean my skin. However, this cleanser is a good one. It does help to immediately make the skin feel smoother and more refined. I like that my skin feels very clean after using it too. My skin feels great, which is what you want in a cleanser. This is definitely a good buy. I recommend it for any skin type, especially aging skin, acneic skin or for anyone that wants some extra exfoliation.
Jan Marini Bioglycolic Skin Cleanser retails for $30.00 (8 fl.oz./237 mL) and can be purchased at www.janmarini.com.
