Just recently L’Oréal Paris came out with a line of products dedicated to making skin look luminous. There are three illuminating creams and three powders that are for cool, neutral and warm skin tones. I tried all of these products out and I LOVE them. All of them. Let me tell you, these are fabulous products. I love to mix the Liquid Glow Illuminator in with my foundation then use the Powder Glow Illuminator on top of my foundation to give skin an ethereal glow to my skin.

This is the ultimate in luminosity for your skin. It is the first liquid highlighter introduced by L’Oréal Paris and was specifically made to highlight key features or illuminate all over the skin. Designed in Ice, Rose or Golden shades to flatter every skin tone from cool, neutral to warm. Ice enhances pink or blue tones in cool skin tones. Rose enhances yellow, peachy or blue tones in neutral skin tones. And, Golden enhances peachy or yellow tones in warm skin tones. Use alone or mix with foundation for the ultimate in luminous skin.
I prefer to mix it with my foundation to get a more luminous skin tone. I have tried all three of the colors. I am neutral normally, so all three are okay for me to use. I like Ice the best, as it adds that nice sheer pink/blue to my skin. Rose is also beautiful as it adds that gorgeous rosy glow to the skin.

I am in love with these illuminators. I love anything that gives my skin a nice glow. And what is so great about these products is that you can go soft with them or all out glowing goddess. I try not to do that, since I am 44 now. If I was still in my 20’s I would do the whole glowing goddess thing. However, I do think that it is in my best interest to try and be somewhat subtle in my quest for the perfect ‘glow’. L’Oréal Paris has definitely come up with the perfect way go go about too. I like that there are three different shades. For me, being fairly neutral, I feel I can wear all three shades. I love Ice because it gives my skin that ethereal glow that I have really been searching for. Used together, the Liquid Glow Illuminator and Powder Glow Illuminator both give skin a wonderful glow that is unrivaled.
The price point makes them accessible too. I also love that in the powders you have four different shades to mix together. These shades come together to make a great illuminating powder. These really are great products. The Liquid Glow Illuminator is excellent on the skin under foundation, alone or mixed with foundation. I use it mixed with foundation to give my foundation a more luminous finish. For me, this is how I feel I am getting the most out of the product. You can use it alone on the skin then use a light powder on top to give skin just the right amount of sheer glow. There are so many ways to use these products. Experiment to find the right way for you.
