NYC New York Color Expert Last Lip Lacquer is a long-wearing, moisturizing lip color from NYC New York Color that has intense color payoff like a lipstick with the shine of a lipgloss. It is glamorous color that comes in 12 luscious shades. This product infuses lips with intense color, the precision applicator hugs lips tight while the rich yet lightweight formula glides color smoothly onto lips. It never feathers or bleeds. Lips stay hydrated, soft and very supple all day long. This lacquer is never sticky and it lasts almost the entire day. This formula has a texture that is light and creamy with color that is amazingly rich and has full coverage. Lips will not feel dry at all, but will feel comfortable all day long. It defies the laws of lipstick/lipgloss.
I tried out four shades, Bare Brooklyn, Riverside Romance, Central Park Passion and Tribeca Mocha. These are the nude shades in the collection. Bare Brooklyn is a very light peachy nude. Riverside Romance is a light pinkish nude. Central Park Passion is a medium pink brown. Tribeca Mocha is a medium chocolate brown shade. None of these are shimmery.
Below you can see how they look on my lips. The colors are very light, all brilliant nudes and they really don’t look that much different from each other. Tribeca Mocha is the darkest and looks somewhat darker than the other ones. I love how nice they look on my lips. The lip lacquer is very shiny and pretty on my lips, it wears for a very long time and does not get all gooey in the corner of my lips as some lipgloss does. The color is very strong, with good payoff. The applicator is nice too, it gets a good amount of color on the lips, you only need to put a couple of swipes of color on to get full coverage. It is true that these are not sticky, which is another big plus. I love that. These are very nice and I think they are one of NYC New York Color’s better products.
