Recently I was sent a very interesting product to try out. I have always loved the AMOREPACIFIC line. I had tried a sample product out a while ago and fell in love with it. So I was ecstatic to try out the Treatment Enzyme Peel. This product is a water activated exfoliator that dissolves dead skin cells that lie on the surface of the epidermis, without using any harsh abrasives. It gives you instantly brighter skin. The peel eliminates dry, dull surface cells and toxins that lie within the surface of the skin. It helps to brighten up the skin, even the skin tone and provides a soft and smooth complexion. As it does this it also aids in providing a way for other treatment products to penetrate the epidermis/dermis better. This is definitely a good thing, as you want your treatment products to be able to penetrate better so that they work better on your skin.

How is the Treatment Enzyme Peel used?
First cleanse the face of all makeup, debris and impurities. Moisten face and hands. Open the cap and pour a pre-measured amount of the powder into your palm (the first time you use this you will have to prime the bottle by turning it upside down to get a premeasured amount into the top). Add slightly warm water and work into a creamy lather, avoid the eye area. Massage the lather onto the skin for 30-45 seconds, or longer if you feel you need it. Rinse thoroughly and continue with your regular regimen (serums followed by moisturizer). Make sure to not use this product in the shower or bath, if water comes into contact with the powder in the bottle it will activate and harden. Close lid tightly after ever use.

What I really love about this product is how easy it is to use and how it leaves my skin feeling so soft and completely amazing. It works miracles on the skin in less than a minute. AMOREPACIFIC has a great product on their hands in this Treatment Enzyme Peel. I have never used anything like this and think this is something very special in terms of exfoliants. It is not irritating to the skin in the least, it exfoliates in seconds and it leaves skin looking amazing without being harsh. There is no other exfoliant that I have personally tried that can do the same thing. The main ingredient in this product in Papain, an enzyme from Papayas is encapsulated and activated upon contact with water. It dissolves impurities and cellular build up on the skin without being the slightest bit harsh, like AHAs can be. And it does not contain any abrasives such as crystals or seeds to scrub the skin with. Skin looks bright, glowing and feels soft and smooth as a baby’s bottom.

AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Enzyme Peel retails for $60.00 (2.5 oz./70 g).
