Review: Mad Hippie Exfoliating Serum #MadHippie #ExfoliatingSerum

What is so great about Mad Hippie Exfoliating Serum is that it is for those of you who need a gentle, yet thorough exfoliating product that does not strip all the skin off of the face like some products do. It is not too harsh, it does its job and it leaves skin glowing. Get rid of dull, damaged skin, discolorations to reveal brighter, smoother skin that looks so much better. Mad Hippie has taken Mother Nature and modern science and untied the two to reduce the appearance of skin discolorations and fine lines and wrinkles in their alpha hydroxy acid based serum.

In it they have put glycolic acid and lactic acid. Glycolic acid is derived from sugar can and is the most effective of the alpha hydroxy acids. It has a smaller molecular size and is the most amazing way to exfoliate the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and age spots. Lactic acid, derived from fermented beet sugar and also an alpha hydroxy acid, also exfoliates the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and hyperpigmentation all the while moisturizing and hydrating the skin. Apple stem cells (PhytoCellTec®) work to reduce the appearance of age related deterioration of the skin. Gigawhite is a blend of 6 organically grown alpine plants that inhibit the production of melanin in the skin. Melanin accumulation under the skin is responsible for discoloration resulting from UV damage. Matrixyl Synthe ‘6, is the newest member of the Matrixyl family of peptides. It stimulates the synthesis of 6 major constituents of the skin matrix and dermal-epidermal junction. Sodium hyaluronate works to plump up the skin, giving you back that youthful look. White tea is a strong antioxidant with natural anti-carcinogenic qualities that help neutralize aging free radicals and inhibit photoaging. Goji Berry is a super anti-oxidant berry rich in amino acids, minerals and vitamins C, E, B1, B2 & B6. It is also an amazing source of beta carotene with anti-inflammatory and anti-aging benefits. Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant that helps make collagen. It brightens the appearance of the skin while helping to curb the aging effects of the sun. Ceramides provide a thin, lipid layer to of protection over the skin that help aid in moisture retention in the skin.

Using this serum daily helps to not only exfoliate the skin but aid in fighting the effects of aging skin, such as fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Use this serum every night on cleansed skin. Let to skin into skin then follow with a night cream. I find that it does not take very long for this serum to sink into skin. It takes only half to a 3/4 dropper full to do the entire face, neck and decolletage. You can also try the Mad Hippie Vitamin A Serum for exfoliation (http://bit.ly/1nm9AOb), which is very good and is not acid based but still works as an anti-aging serum.

The Mad Hippie Exfoliating Serum retails for $34.99 and can be purchased from www.madhippie.com, Whole Foods, Nugget Market, New Seasons Market, Earth Fare, Natural Grocers, and more natural markets.
