The other day I did a review of the Waterproof Micellar Cleansing Water. This time around I am doing a review of the regular Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-In-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser. This one is not a bi-phase cleanser like the waterproof one. Also, it does not contain any alcohol, oil or fragrance. It is a very powerful cleanser though. It takes off dirt, grime, sebum, makeup and oil all in one fell swoop. And it remains gentle to the skin. It cleanses and refreshes in one step. This multipurpose cleanser contains Micellar technology. Like tiny magnets, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without any harsh rubbing of the skin. This leaves nothing but perfectly clean, hydrated and refreshed skin behind without it being over-drying. This cleanser is surprisingly powerful yet gentle to the skin. The Micelles capture all of the makeup, dirt, oil and daily grime without any harshness that some other cleansers can have. They leave the skin feeling clean, fresh and ready to start the nightly process of serums and creams. 

It can be used on the face, lips and eyes without any problems at all. I use one cotton pad for the eyes and another for the rest of the face. My makeup comes off in two whole cotton pads. And I use a lot of makeup too! I make sure that all of my makeup is gone, so that I don’t have any remnants around to clog up my pores overnight. After I use this type of a cleanser I do use a toner though, just to refresh the skin and get any residue that might be hanging around. 

This is a great cleanser. It does a really good job of removing makeup, oil, dirt and grime without being harsh on the skin. For me, the Waterproof Micellar Cleansing Water All-In-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser (http://bit.ly/23IOABu) is my favorite of the two cleansers, mainly because it does a better job of removing eye makeup. But in reality, they are both excellent cleansers. The Micellar Cleansing Water All-In-1 Makeup Remover & Cleanser does do a very good job of removing eye makeup, but I have a tendency to wear a lot of eye makeup and it is harder to get it off with this cleanser. However, facial makeup comes off quite well with both cleansers. It takes off lipstick well too. I really like that these cleansers leave skin feeling so fresh and cleansed well. I mean skin feels clean and fresh, as if you just used a regular cleanser on it. Skin also does not feel dry after using this. For those of use with normal to dry skin, this is a huge plus. My skin has a tendency to feel dry in winter and I like cleansers that make my skin feel soft and hydrated after using them. This does just that. Another plus is that this cleanser comes in a HUGE bottle. It will last a long time. It really only needs to be used at night to take off makeup, and you can use another cleanser in the morning, one that helps to cleanse the skin from the residue that is left on the skin after the night.
