I found that it does not go on completely matte. It has a little bit of shine to it. It does look very nice on the lips though. The color is very pretty and would look good on just about anyone. It is a nice nude shade that is one of those shades for just about anyone to wear. It is a medium bown-pink shade with just a hint of warmth to it. It does last a very long time on the lips, at least 8 hours. I'll take that.
