I have become a big fan of Marc Jacobs Beauty. Some of his items are just amazing. This spring he came out with 3 color correcting items that work really well under alone or under foundation. They are Color Correcting Sticks in three different color themes. One is pink/lilac, one of the others is citron/lime and the final is peach and caramel. I tried out the first two. The sticks roll-up and are easily spreadable over the face. You can get them in spots that are hard to reach too.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Cover(t) Stick in Pink/LilacColor 310 Bright Now $42.00
This stick covers dullness in the face, leaving it looking brighter and more even toned. In the stick itself it looks pink and lilac, but when swirled on the skin it comes out a light pink. The light pink does in face even out the skin tone, brightening it. You can wear it alone or under foundation (after it is blended in). Just be sure to blend it well and make sure to cover the areas that need coverage. Both of them can be used at the same time. Skin tone is uneven in general sometimes. You could use the brightening one in one area and the peach/caramel or citron/lime in another area.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Cover(t) Affairs Stick in Citron /Lime 300 Co(Vert) Affairs $42.00
The Co(Vert) Affairs Stick is Citron/Lime and goes on a mixture of the two, a nice yellowish green shade. Its job is to cover and neutralize redness. It does a good job of that. This can be worn alone (after it is blended in) or under foundation. The two colors in the stick come together, citron yellow and lime, to create a nice shade that covers and neutralizes redness in the skin. I really like this one too.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Cover(t) Stick in Peach/Caramel 320 Getting Warmer $42.00
This one is to even out hyperpigmentation and dark circles. I did not get to try it out myself. The peach/caramel looks like it could be used to contour the face too. It would work very well on medium to dark skin tones. Honestly, I am not sure how well it would work on lighter skin tones. I would assume it would work okay. All of the other ones would work okay on darker skin tones. I just honestly cannot say because I did not try it out. If you did try it out, please leave a comment for me.
Here is a swatch of the two that I did try out. I wanted you to see how they look when you swipe them on the skin. The colors meld into each other. Basically they become one color. Notice how the shades basically turn into different shades. The Bright Now stick turned into a light pink shade. The Cover(t) Affairs stick turned into a lime green shade. These work very well on the skin.

These sticks work very well to help make the skin look better and more even toned prior to foundation. This way when foundation is placed on the skin , it can be lighter and less heavy so that skin looks better. Using these will definitely make your skin look better prior to foundation application.
