Recently I was given the opportunity to try some styling care from salon professional Alterna Haircare. I must say that I am in love with this brand. Their hair care is extraordinary. It is very, very good. It is some of the best hair care ever used on my hair. I would definitely recommend giving Alterna a try. I tried products from the Caviar Anti-Aging line and the Bamboo line. 

Bamboo Smooth Pure Kendi Treatment Oil 1.7 fl.oz./50mL $25.00

Alterna gives you ultimate frizz control and smooth hair that shines like crazy. Instantly absorbing Kendi Oil with strengthening Organic Bamboo can be used as a treatment or as a styling primer to reduce frizz, impart intense shine and protect your color all while providing nutrients to the hair. It is best for thick and coarse hair types. 

I love this. My hair is naturally frizzy, so it is my go to product. It works. I love how it takes the frizz away and leaves gorgeous shiny hair in its place. Place a few drops in damp hair and rub throughout. As an oil treatment, apply liberally to hair and leave on for 10 minutes. Then wash out. 

Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Mist 4.2 fl.oz./125 mL $25.00

This lightweight, instantly absorbing mist can be also be used as a treatment or a style primer. It eliminates frizz, shields hair from heat styling tools, enhances shine and protects color all while boosting hair's health. It has Kendi Oil and Organic Bamboo. Best for use on normal hair types.

I use this when I don't want something as heavy as the oil. It is lighter and is easier to manipulate. Spray liberally throughout and style as usual. Use on dry hair to eliminate frizz and enhance shine. 

Bamboo Smooth Anti-Humidity Hairspray 7.4 oz./213 g $18.00

This ultra-dry, humidity-resisitant hairspray acts as a barrier against humid conditions, locking out frizz while locking in style. Water-light, it never leaves hair feeling stiff or sticky. 

Combined with the other Bamboo Smooth styling products, frizz doesn't stand a chance. Hair is sleek, smooth and stylish. It looks amazing. Style hair as desired, hold can 6-12 inches from head and spray hair liberally. 

Caviar Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist 4.8 fl.oz./141 mL $28.00

The Caviar Anti-Aging range helps to keep hair looking younger by the use of Caviar. This multi-tasking styler delivers instant and long lasting root-to-tip volume, providing flexible hold and leaving hair touchably soft. It has clinically proven to be shown that it will give you 2x the volume that you normally have. That is why it is called the Miracle Multiplying Mist. 

It works too. Spray at the roots on damp hair and style as usual. You will notice hair has much more volume than usual. 

Caviar Perfect Iron Spray 4.1 fl.oz./122mL $28.00

This is a heat activated spray for use with straightening irons and other heat styling tools. It protects each strand of hair for up to 450°F and 232°C. This spray locks in moisture to eliminate frizz and split ends. It reduces styling time and damage caused by the styling tools. It locks out humidity for long-lasting style. To use, spray on clean dry hair one section at a time prior to using heat styling tools. Repeat section by section until styling is complete. 

This is my new favorite heat styling spray. It works wonders for heat styling. The spray protects hair and lets the tool do the job but lets hair not get fried during the process. It is a rare spray that can actually do such a thing. Most of them are really just hype and don't do such a good job, but this one really does work well.

Caviar RepairRx Multi-Vitamin Heat Protection Spray 4.2 fl.oz/125 mL $30.00

Repair your hair with Cavair RepairRx. The Multi-Vitamin Protection Spray helps instantly repair weak, distressed hair while boosting hair's immunity to damage. Without adding any weight to your hair. This has Vitamins A. C, B6, B12, E and Biotin. Vitamin A and C are anti-oxidants that protect against free radicals. Biotin, B6 and B12 restore strength, shine and body. Vitamin E nourishes, conditions and smooths hair. It also has intense heat and UV protection that prevents breakage and protects from heat up to 450°F.

This spray is like an intense version of the Perfect Iron Spray. It has more repairing aspects and is for hair that is in need of more repair. It can be used as a regular styling aid or as an aid to heat styling. If used for regular styling, apply to hair by spraying evenly through clean, towel dried hair. Comb through and style as desired. For heat styling just make sure hair is dry. This will protect hair. 

Caviar Working Hair Spray 7.4 oz./211 g $20.00

Achieve natural looking style with this ultra-dry brushable hair spray. It provides a flexible hold while adding fullness and shine to hair. All while being humidity resistant. Hair stays soft yet has great hold with this hair spray. Style hair. Hold can 6-12 inches away from hair then spray all over to achieve the amount of hold you need. For a softer look, brush through when dry. 

As you can see, I tried a good number of Alterna Haircare styling products. I was very happy with the products I tried too. Especially the anti-frizz and heat protetion products. These worked really well. These products are only available in fine salons across the country. If you find them anywhere else they are likely counterfeit.
