DEBUT FRAGRANCE, SCENT OF A DREAM, AND REVOLUTIONARY VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE STARRING KATE MOSS AT SAMSUNG 837 IN NEW YORK CITY

WHO:                    On September 10th at experiential flagship Samsung 837 in New York City, the world’s number one makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury, brought the worlds of beauty, fashion and technology together, hosting VIP influencers, industry insiders, celebrities, models, media guests and consumers at a unique evening event celebrating the launch of her debut fragrance, Scent of a Dream, and showcasing her revolutionary virtual reality experience, starring Kate Moss. Guests included: Ashley Graham, Olivia Palermo, Olivia Culpo, Morgan Stewart, Sara Sampaio, Josephine Skriver, Ebonee Davis, Catt Sadler, Symon, Martha Hunt and Caila Quinn. 

WHAT:                  Charlotte Tilbury, a pioneer and leader in bringing technology innovation to the beauty industry, partnered with Samsung 837, located in New York City’s Meatpacking District, to celebrate the launch of her debut fragrance, Scent of a Dream. The fully immersive, interactive space provided the perfect wonderland to bring the magic and power of the Scent of a Dream virtual reality film – starring legendary model and Charlotte’s longtime friend Kate Moss – to life, and give guests an up-close-and-personal, multi-sensory experience.

The first-of-its-kind technology hub and cultural destination allowed guests to experience the revolutionary Scent of a Dream virtual reality film via Samsung Gear VR and immerse themselves in the mesmerizing world of Charlotte’s mind-altering, fleurotic fragrance via interactive installations throughout the space including a 360 photo-booth, Social Galaxy, dedicated Snapchat filter, and bespoke makeup and selfie stations.

Guests enjoyed music from DJ Harley Viera-Newton, Charlotte’s signature Rasberry Rascal and Skinny Bitch cocktails, Dreamy Look makeovers from Charlotte’s Team Tilbury, personalized lip and dream readings and more!
