It helps bring my pH level back to normal and rehydrates my skin, keeping it from dehydrating too much. Peels naturally dehydrate the skin, so this mask naturally helps add moisture and hydration back into the skin. This mask also calms the redness associated with a peel. This way my skin is not too red after the peel. Also, I use it after extractions. Yes, I do my own extractions at home. I am qualified, as I am a licensed Esthetician. I do my own facials at home so if I need to do any extractions this mask is very helpful in getting rid of any redness in the skin after extractions. It calms the skin down quite quickly.
