The Innovation Lab is a space in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco where the team can ideate, test, dream, experiment and learn. As new ideas surface, the Lab team will be responsible for sourcing, developing, evaluating, testing and eventually launching new offerings and technologies for shopping in the store and on-the-go. SEPHORA has teamed with Google, Apple and others in the past, and plans to evaluate additional strategic alliances in the future, through the Lab program.
Through its "Think Tank" program, SEPHORA Innovation Lab will groom the next generation of leaders, who will be developing the "next big idea" in retail. The Think Tank team meets monthly and works to solve for the way we shop five years from now. The Lab will also oversee "Idea Central," a program which seeks to source and deliver on ideas from employees nationwide – regardless of rank or function within the company.

If you are a makeup junkie or know a makeup junkie (like myself), then this gift is perfect for that makeup junkie. It is the SEPHORA Collection Ombré Obsession Face Palette. This palette is made up of four ombré shades of blush, four single shades and one universally flattering luminizer. Anyone into beauty will love this palette. This is a fun and unexpected approach to blush. Use each shade in ombré pans on their own or mix together with others for a custom color. Experiment with finishes, mixing mattes and shimmers. Finish off with the luminizer in the center pan.
In this palette there are four cool shades and four warm shades. I have been trying them all out this past month and love all of the shades. Below you can see some photos of the shades with and without the luminizer used. The shades themselves don’t have names, so I cannot tell you which shades I am wearing in each photo. In some of the photos I have the blush more pronounced, that I because I wanted the makeup to have a more dramatic flare. In some it is softer and less pronounced. These blushes have great pigmentation and little to no fallout. The luminizer is wonderful, it looks good on top of all of the blushes. It is definitely a neutral shade. These blushes are my new go-to palette that is replacing some of the other blushes I had been using for a long time.

This holiday season SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE (the beauty authority and the color authority) came together to create a collection of radiant jewels that will light up your face and let it glow. Are you up for some color? The collection is chock full of color, the kind only Pantone can provide.

has 8 eye shadows that are heavily pigmented and full of color. These
are ready to give you a bright eye that will take you to all the holiday
parties! Create endless looks with the pearlescent shadows. Apply dry
for a hint of shimmer or wet for a full blown intense look and long
wear. Create vibrant or really smoky eyes that will be the boldest at
any get together!
You can see here that the shadows are pretty pigmented. Only the lighter shadows, on the left are fairly light. But when worn they help blend the others and make great highlights for under the brow. My favorite shades are the bright turquoise and bright green.

The eye shadow palette reminds me of an exotic bird. And I love the brightness of it but it is also smoky in a way. You can do a very smoky eye too. The Velvet Lipstick is so nice and goes on very creamy. It is highly pigmented.

Review: SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE Fire & Earth Lip Ombre Lipsticks and Waterproof Universal Lip Liner

This fall SEPHORA has really outdone themselves with one of the most unusual lipstick sets I have ever seen! The SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE Fire & Earth Lip Ombre Lipsticks
are two deluxe lipsticks that are color coordinated and contain a
glossy shade to add brilliant shine to lips and a matte-shimmery shade
that you can use create a harmonious look. The velvety texture glides on
easily so that the shades layers easily to create mutli-dimensional
looks. Each shade comes out when you push in the and click the other
side. Use one shade or both to create the ombre look that is so popular
this season.
There are two sets of the Fire & Earth Ombre Lipsticks. Deep Claret (a gorgeous deep burgundy) and Carnelian (shimmery fiery pumpkin) work synergistically to give a gorgeous glow to the lips. Grenadine (bright poppy) and Cornsilk (shimmery gold) also work together to give lips the ombre look or a separate look if you desire.
I really like the colors that they came out with. They are warm toned for sure, but Deep Claret is a little bit more cooler and can be worn alone to keep it cool or with Carnelian to warm it up. Below you will see different looks on my lips, the lipsticks alone or worn in an ombre effect. I found Deep Claret to be a little bit lighter in pigment than Carnelian and Grenadine. Grenadine is a very pretty poppy color, you can see how it becomes a gorgeous pumpkin like tone with Cornsilk on top of it. Cornsilk is very shimmery but goes on beautifully over Grenadine, as you can see in the bottom photo. I like the ombre effect for a change of pace, it is something fun and different!
With these I used the Waterproof Universal Lip Liner ($9.00, http://bit.ly/1a3liRI), which is clear. What I like about this is you can use any color of lipstick over it and it prevents bleeding and feathering of lipstick.
