This shampoo contains hydrocortisone 1% to help curb the itchiness associated with a dry, itchy scalp. It is helpful for itching, flaking, and dandruff. The shampoo is safe for all hair types and is sulfate free. It works on those who have sebborrheic dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. It is gentle enough for everyday use. It hydrates, moisturizes, revitalizes and soothes the scalp.
I don't have a dry itchy scalp or dandruff but I let my husband try it. He does. He said it works really well and it works immediately. That is what is so good about this shampoo. Is that it goes to work immediately and stays at work, so that you feel better about your hair than you previously did.

The conditioner is a little bit different than the shampoo. It is more like a traditional dandruff treatment. The conditioner contains Pyrithione Zinc 1%. That is the traditional treatment for dandruff and sebborrheic dermatitis. The conditioner helps control itching, flaking and dandruff. Their theory is that you really need 2 kinds of topical ingredients to control dandruff, not just one. It is clinically proven, safe for everyday use. The conditioner is sulfate free, paraben free, has a natural fragrance, has a soothing botanical complex, is safe for color treated hair and hydrates, moisturizes, revitalizes, soothes the hair and scalp. It also works on eczema and psoriasis.

To use the system, apply shampoo and lather for several minutes. Rinse. Repeat. Then generously apply conditioner and apply to clean, wet hair. Massage for several minutes. Rinse and repeat.
You should start to notice a difference almost immediately. My husband liked the conditioner but he really doesn't use them so much. I told him that it was an integral part of the therapy and he caved. So he used it and noticed that it did help tremendously.
