Nude and Natural Tan
How does one keep skin from aging? What is the best and safest way? The best and safest way to keep skin from aging is to wear a sunscreen every day. At least on your face, neck, décolleté and arms/hands. Anything that sees the sunlight every day should be covered by sunscreen. It really depends on the season. But every season the face, neck and décolleté should always be covered by a broad spectrum SPF 30 daily. Broad spectrum means that it takes care of UVA and UVB rays. Of course, you should also be wearing other skin care products to keep your skin from aging. You should wear your serums and moisturizers too. But definitely sunscreen should come first, as it is a prophylactic measure that prevents aging in the first place. You want to prevent aging more than to treat it.
Recently I received MyChelle's Sun Shield Liquid Tint SPF 50 Broad Spectrum to try out. It comes in two colors, Nude and Natural Tan. The Nude shade is for those who wear light/medium foundations and the Natural Tan is for those who wear medium/dark shades of foundation. I tried the Nude shade, as I wear light foundation shades. It was a little dark and yellow for my skin so I mixed it with a light foundation to lighten it up a little bit. The last thing you want to do is go out with too dark of a foundation on your skin. I must say though, this has a very good coverage with a light tint to it. I was expecting a very light coverage. No, it is heavier coverage. That would have to do with the SPF 50, which comes from a natural source. The sunscreen in this product is mineral in nature. It is zinc oxide 16.1%. That is a large amount but you want a strong sunscreen. It is a 100% mineral based sunscreen with maximum UVA/UVB broad spectrum protection.

I love how well this wore on my skin. It lasted all day long without any problems. It has a matte finish, which makes it suitable for most people. As I mentioned, I just mixed it with a little bit of foundation to lighten it up a little bit as I am very light complected. I LOVE that it has an SPF of 50. To me that is the best thing about it. I am so fair, I need at least a SPF 30 or higher daily to keep from photoaging. This is a great product and I would advise it for those who are seeking products for aging, photoaging or who like to wear sunscreen daily and maybe want a tint along with their sunscreen. This kind of product kills two birds with one stone. You get a light foundation with an SPF or a primer with an SPF.
