To Use: Before bedtime once to twice a week, followed by ample rest. Apply generously to clean, dry skin. After 10-15 minutes, remove excess with a cotton pad or tissue. Massage the rest in to skin and leave on overnight.

For me that I feel that gives me the most benefits of the mask but my pores don't clog as easily so I can do that. If your pores clog, I would just follow the directions and wipe it off.
