I was sent two kinds of Khortytsa Vodka to try for my Holiday Gift Guide. It is also called Khor Vodka. First, let me say that I absolutely love Vodka. It is my favorite alcoholic beverage. I could drink any flavor of it and just plain vodka will do in a pinch. I was sent Khortytsa Vodka, which comes from Ukraine. I was sent two kinds to try, Platinum and Hot Honey Pepper.
Khor Platinum Vodka $14.99
Khor Platinum Vodka is made from durum wheat and corn. This is one of the few vodkas that uses the latest technology of platinum filtration and a unique system of special birch and alder-tree charcoal filters. Platinum filtration is a state of the art process that gives this vodka a clean, balanced, and soft finish. Thanks to an optimal balance of all ingredients this vodka is perfect for making cocktails. I made two cocktails with this vodka. Below I will give you the recipes. Award winning Khor Platinum is among the top three vodka brands in the world. It is five times distilled. This vodka is made from water sourced from artesian wells and undergoes a multi-layered filtration process using natural mineral filters made of organic schungite, alder tree charcoal filters and quartz sand. Khor Vodka Platinum is also one of the few vodkas in the world to under go an additonal platinum filtration process which lends to a soft and balanced finish. This vodka is perfectly smooth to be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail.
Mrs. Palmer Cocktail

Cranberry-Fuzzy Navel
- 2 oz. Khortytsa Platinum
- 20z. orange juice
- 2 oz. cranberry juice
- Stir in large tumbler and drink!
I loved the mix of the orange and cranberry, which is particularly good for the holiday season.
Khor Hot Honey Pepper Vodka $14.99
Khor Hot Honey Pepper is Ukraine’s first vodka with whole peppercorns in the bottle. It unlocks the flavoring of red pepper perfectly, revealing the natural richness of flavors. Made for those who like to add some spice to life. The vodka is a bright, golden amber hue, complimented by red Indian Cayenne pepper and balanced with a touch of Clover Honey, resulting in a soft, silky entry with notes of spice, emphasized with hints of Cola Nut on the finish. In the end, it does not come out to be too spicy. I tried it neat, to see how spicy it was and I could handle it well (and I am a wuss when it comes to spice). I also made a cocktail with this that tasted delicious.
Khor Bloody Mary
- 2 oz. Khortytsa Hot Honey Pepper Vodka

Fill with ice and set aside, Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges in to a shaker and drop them in, Add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice.
