In 1941, Georgette Klinger brought the best of European skincare to the USA, attracting a vast, devoted, and influential following. Now, the line is  celebrating 75 years of innovation and natural beauty. Georgette Klinger was born in Brno, Czechoslovakia in 1915. In 1936, she was crowned Miss Budapest. As part of her prize, she was given an expensive set of cosmetics that eventually gave her a terrible and
chronic outbreak of acne. Traveling throughout Europe in search of a solution for
her severe acne, Georgette Klinger learned everything she could about the skin and how to treat its various types and conditions. In addition to finding solutions for her acne, she also developed a passion for helping others with their skin. She dedicated herself to developing products and services that would do more than mask problem areas and worked exhaustively in pursuit of real results. In 1938 she opened her first skincare salon in Czechoslovakia at the age of 23. She was forced to flee Europe and the Nazi regime, so she emigrated to New York City, where she opened her Madison Avenue spa in 1941. In time, she expanded and opened 12 spas throughout the country and gained a nationwide following. Her groundbreaking approach to skincare radically transformed the way women and men treat their skin and altered how we view beauty itself. Her ideas, revolutionary for their time, have now become the basis for all modern skincare as we know it. Georgette Klinger's work, spanning over 60 years, saved more people from the scourge of acne and the effects of aging than any other skincare expert in her class. Caring more for the principles she stood for than building an empire, her focus was always on helping people achieve the most beautiful complexion possible.

When I was little, I remember seeing her skincare line on the Home Shopping Network. I always thought her skin looked so beautiful. She was older I remember, but did not look it. Now the line is being revived and is just as good, if not better than it has ever been.

Using this cleanser for dry, sensitive skin, you can melt away dirt, oil and makeup without stripping skin and the moisture barrier. This lightweight creamy cleanser contains nourishing avocado and olive oils that emulsify excess oil, impurities and makeup to effectively cleanse skin while maintaining the moisture balance. Natural extracts of green tea, jasmine and prickly pear protect your skin and help prevent damage while effectively hydrating to tighten, tone and calm distressed skin. This detergent-free formula gently cleanses skin and hydrates the skin leaving it soft and supple. To use, apply the cleanser with fingers to your face and neck, working in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly but gently with warm water. Follow with a toner to complete the cleansing process. Use morning and evening.

My skin is normal to dry in the cooler months. I like this cleanser because it is not drying and it leaves skin feeling soft and supple. It definitely takes off all makeup, even waterproof. I used it on my eyes to remove eye makeup and it worked well there too. I give this cleanser a thumbs up.

Smooth and refine the texture of your skin with this ultra-fine Bamboo exfoliant that is in a gentle gel formula. Get rid of dead skin cells that build up on the surface of your complexion, making it look dull, causing clogged pores, acne and premature aging. The formula is super-sot and smooth as it carefully and thoroughly buffs away dead skin cells to reveal newer, glowing skin beneath. Aloe vera and coconut soothe the complexion during the exfoliation process, while St. John's Wort nourishes, leaving the skin looking clear and radiant. To use, apply exfoliant to wet skin with your fingers, gently working it into your skin in circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Rinse thoroughly but gently with lukewarm water. Use 2-3 times per week. It may also be used on the feet to help remove dead skin cells. This scrub is for all skin types.

I adore this scrub. It is gentle on the skin but effective. What I like about it is that you can scrub and scrub and not over-scrub because the bamboo is gentle and removes dead skin cells efficiently but without any damage to the skin. The bamboo is ultra-fine and is in a gel solution. It works extremely well and is for any skin type, including acneic skin.
