WEN by Chaz Dean Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner
16 fl.oz. $29.00
WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner is infamous for helping millions of women to dump many products in their hair care routine and take up the cause of the cleansing conditioner. What exactly is a cleansing conditioner? It is a shampoo with conditioners built right in but it is not a regular shampoo. This shampoo is missing its lathering ingredients, so it will not lather up like regular shampoos. It still cleanses the hair but not as deep of a cleanse as a regular shampoo and definitely without the lather and suds. Instead you will feel more greasiness from the conditioner portion of the product as it gets pumped into your hair and worked in there. Often, you have to do it a second time to make sure that all of your hair is taken care of and cleansed really well.
WEN is supposed to be a one-stop shop for your hair and scalp, conveniently delivered in one bottle. It is a revolutionary step toward beautiful, healthy, shiny hair. WEN cleansing conditioner replaces shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, leave-in conditioner and even shaving cream. It is for all hair types and thicknesses. It is different because it does not contain any detergents, yet it gently cleanses and moisturizes the hair.
WEN cleansing conditioner is used differently than regular shampoos and conditioners. It should be applied in four sections: crown, nape, ends on the right, and ends on the left. For hair above your ears, use a minimum of 12 pumps (three pumps per section). For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 16 pumps (four pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 24 pumps (six pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders, use a minimum of 32 pumps (eight pumps per section). For hair to your mid-back, use a minimum of 40 pumps (10 pumps per section). For thicker/coarser hair, increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hydrate ends. QVC would like you to get on Auto-Delivery, to send you one every month. You can also go to the WEN website (www.wen.com) to see what they offer and for how much. Each site has different scents and products.
I did not mind WEN so much. I thought it cleansed my thick mid length hair very well. It left my hair feeling conditioned and clean. So it got rid of three steps for me but I still had to use something for anti-frizz for my hair. Because the frizziness on my hair will never stop unless I leave natural oils in my hair. But I would recommend WEN. There have been reports of women who have lost hair while using WEN but I really don't know anything about that. I would not use this exclusively. I would use this on and off. Try using regular shampoo and conditioner too every so often.
