Derma E Firming Magnetic Clay Mask is a good mask for nighttime. It is an exfoliating clay mask that when you first put it on provides a cooling sensation that comes from Spearmint to wake you up and makes your skin feel oh so good! It contains DMAE, which helps skin appear visibly firmer, lifted and smooth. The magnetic properties of the mask help to pull out impurities from the pores while making the skin appear plumper. It also contains ingredients like Kaolin to help draw out impurities from the skin and Adzuki Beans, which are "nature's favorite exfoliator" to help buff away dull, dry skin to reveal a fresh, beautiful glow.
Other ingredients include: Bentonite Clay, Glycerin, Titanium Dioxide, Vitamin E, and Aloe Leaf Juice. Bentonite is a clay that helps to draw impurities out of the skin, can help with oiliness, and gets rid of dead skin cells. Glycerin is moisturizing. Titanium Dioxide, while known as a sunscreen, is also a great soothing ingredient too. Vitamin E is a great anti-oxidant and helps with scarring, redness and irritation. Aloe Leaf Juice is good for redness and irritation and also helps to moisturize the skin.
This mask is great for all skin types except sensitive skin, as it has the Spearmint extract in it. I would recommend its use at least once a week, for any skin type (except sensitives skin as noted above). To use: apply product generously to clean, dry skin. Avoid the eye and lip area! You will definitely notice a cooling sensation upon application. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes. Wash of with warm water and a wash cloth, being careful not to rub too hard. This way you get exfoliation from the Adzuki Beans. Follow up with your favorite Derma E moisturizer. I recommend the Vitamin C Intense Night Cream. It helps get rid of hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles.
I love this mask. Not only does it help exfoliate, which is great, but it helps to firm skin. I like masks that do more than one thing at a time. Don't you? I would rather buy something that does more than one thing at a time and get more for my money if I can.
