Conditioner is that step in your hair care routine that you want to make sure actually does something for your hair. I often like to make sure that I use good conditioners that are organic or have the best ingredients possible for my hair so that it looks as beautiful as possible. Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Conditioner is one of those.

It has Aloe Juice as its first ingredient, water as its second. This makes it one of those rare products that actually has something than water other than its first ingredient. Aloe juice makes a great base ingredient. It is organic, moisturizing and hydrating and helps add shine to the hair. This conditioner was made for normal to dry hair and helps to strengthen hair. Organic Lavender Essential oil has a calming and soothing aroma for a truly relaxing experience as well as providing dry hair with soft, smooth and shiny results. Rich plant emollients plus nourishing Quinoa Protein, Soy Protein, Babassu Oil, Vitamin E, Panthenol and Arginine conditions and nourishes each hair strand for smooth, healthy looking hair. Made with Consciousness in Cosmetics, it does not contain any of the following: parabens, petroleum based ingredients, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, synthetic fragrances, synthetics colors, and/or other harsh preservatives or chemicals. This conditioner is pH balanced. It is 100% vegetarian and has not gone under any animal testing.

I find this conditioner to be very good for my chemically treated (colored) hair. My hair is damaged from coloring and is naturally very dry by nature. I need a conditioner that is going to leave my hair as smooth as possible and make it feels shiny and soft. This does a pretty good job of it. And it smells heavenly. Not too much lavender as I find some products can be, but just enough that it smells good without being soapy. And it leaves hair feeling very nice and not as frizzy as it once was. I still need my oils and styling creams but I will always need those, there is no magic cure for dry, frizzy hair. However, that does not mean that we should not try to get it under control. There are products that do good job of working to help dryness and this conditioner does a good job of helping to alleviate some of the dryness and frizz that occurs with dry hair and it does it while being natural and organic.
