Primers. Suddenly they are a product base that have become very important in the makeup world. Why exactly? Well, for one thing they help makeup last longer. Two, primers help makeup go on smoother and more even textured. They can also makeup colors more vibrant, especially eye shadow primers. Today I would like to discuss foundation primers. Specifically the new line from COVERGIRL.

I found the Skin Smoothing one did blur imperfections well, heck it even blurred pores! My skin looked extremely smooth and perfect when I wore this one. I really like this one. With the Color Neutralizing Primer I noticed some improvement on the redness in my skin, my undertone is naturally neutral, I wear neutral foundations the best, the swatches above are on my forearm which is kind of tan. The Pore Minimizing Primer worked very well and I recommend this one. It is definite go. It helps get rid of the look of foundation settling into pores, which looks yucky. Finally, the Illuminating Primer is also very nice. I mix it with my foundation to make a dewy foundation. I usually wear long-lasting foundations in summer so, a primer mixed in kind of doubles the workload.
