I think most of you will agree that you are lip balm addicts aren't you? Well I am too. I have been for many, many years. I go through lip balm like crazy. I constantly feel like my lips are chapped. Until now. I have finally found the PERFECT lip balm!!!!!! It is called Lypsyl Original Mint Lip Balm and is Sweden's best selling lip balm. The company has been around making lip care products for over 100 years, so I think they know what they are doing!
The reason lips get so dry and chapped is because lips do not contain oil glands (sebum glands) so they cannot contain any moisture on them. That makes it almost impossible for your lips to stay moist in any way. If I do not use lip balm or have something on my lips all the time, they get extremely dry and will peel. I imagine this happens to everyone because we constantly lick our lips to keep them moist, which actually dries them out only much, much more. Thus enters our 'lip balm addiction' which is not really an addiction at all, but is really the only way to keep lips healthy. But most lip balms wear off too quickly, are too waxy or are greasy. Not Lypsyl. Lypsyl is made from beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter, made with Swedish beeswax, it is not only naturally long-lasting but it does penetrate the skin to moisturize and soften the skin. Coconut oil and organic shea butter are also deep penetrating and very moisturizing for the thin skin of the lips. It also contains Vitamins A & E to soften and heal, and mint for fresh flavor. This lip balm keeps lips moisturized and hydrated for hours. I find myself having only to reapply every few hours instead of every half hour or so. One other thing that is nice is that it is a very large lip balm. It should last you a couple of months or so. The unique, one-handed, adorable 'bee-shaped' slide allows for quick application. And, the oversized application tip ensures this ultra- light formula spreads evenly for better lip coverage. Lypsyl was not tested on animals.

To me, this is truly the Holy Grail of lip balms. It really does work better on my lips than any other lip balm I have used before. I found that it lasts for hours on my lips and I don't have to reapply more often than every 3-4 hours. For me, that is extremely good for a lip balm. Not only that but I find that my lips are in their best condition that the have ever been in since I started to use this lip balm.
