I have something that will help all of those things. Natrol Biotin 10,000 mcg is an ingredient that women use to help their hair, skin and nails. It beautifies all three. Biotin is natures beautiful helper. Biotin by Natrol is a vegetarian supplement that supports cellular energy production, strong nails, gorgeous skin and healthy-looking hair. Natrol captures the benefits of vitamin B7 in its Biotin supplement. Just as with the other B complex vitamins, Biotin plays a role in converting food to energy. Vitamin B7 is especially known for its support of skin, hair, nail, eye and nervous system health. Biotin is also considered a crucial nutrient during pregnancy due to its promotion of embryonic growth.

I have been using Biotin for years. My hair grows wild and long because of it. My nails, though soft and brittle, grow long because of it. My skin, usually pretty good anyway, renews itself and heals itself quicker because of it. Natrol sells it in a 10,000 mcg tablet, which is the maximum strength allowable. 3,333% of the recommended daily value. I prefer the Natrol tablets because of the strength. I have not encountered a tablet with this much Biotin before. I actually prefer to take this much. What is great is that this supplement is that it is vegetarian and is free of wheat, soybeans, yeast, corn, milk, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacean shellfish, artificial colors, artificial flavors, added sugar, starch and preservatives. It is recommended that you consult with your healthcare provider before taking this product if you take prescription drugs, have a medical condition, or are pregnant or lactating.

Now if you are looking for something to help your strengthen your brittle nails I am not sure if this is the right thing for you. I have extremely soft, brittle nails and Biotin has not worked for me. I have tried it many, many times and my nails will grow really well with this supplement but it does not make them any stronger. It does however, make the hair grow really fast and much longer, it also makes your hair look shinier and more lustrous. Hair looks and feels thicker too. And it makes your skin glow and I do think it ramps up sebum production. Which is why skin is glowing. That would certainly explain it. 

Biotin is one of those supplements that is an extremely good thing to take for beauty reasons. I have been taking it off and on for years. I really like what it does for my hair and skin yet not so much what it does for my nails. I wish it would strengthen them instead of just making them grow. If you have had different circumstances, I would love to hear about it. Maybe I just have wonky nails.
