philosophy is known for its serious skincare. I have always been a huge fan of the brand, with philosophy being one of my favorite brands. Why? Because this is a brand that from the beginning of its inception has made products that work, that are not too expensive and make products that are on the cutting edge of skincare.
Today I am reviewing their new serum, renewing dew concentrate, which belongs to the renewed hope in a jar family of products. This serum holds true to the helps keep true to the old adage that an ounce of prevention prevents a pound of cure, although here it is a drop of prevention that goes a long way. They mean the same thing. The serum has been formulated with philosophy's powerful radiance complex, which is their innovative waterlike concentrate that helps to smooth skin and renew a youthful glow. Drop by drop, radiance and hydration are restored, while the look of fine lines and uneven skin tone are diminished over time.
After an 8-week clinical self-assessment study with 43 women aged 35-65 years old:
- in just 2 weeks: 91% of women showed improvement in skin texture
- in 4 weeks: 91% showed improvement in radiance
- in 8 weeks: 91% showed improvement in overall sun damage (hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles)
To Use: apply to entire face, neck and chest area, avoiding the eye area. It sinks in almost immediately. Use at day and night or at just night. Then apply other serums or creams over this one.
I am a huge fan of serums. Why? Because unlike moisturizers, serums can be used in the heat of summer without feeling like you just put a huge mountain of cream on your skin. They sink right in and leave skin feeling wonderful. This serum is no different. I love how it makes my skin look and feel. I would recommend this for any skin type, even those with acne. It is a light serum that would not interfere with any skin type. It is especially good for those with mature, dry, normal and combination skin types.
