Primer is a very important part of the foundation portion of the makeup process. A good primer helps you to set your foundation so that it lasts longer. It also helps other makeup last longer so that it last longer, such as blush, eye shadow, etc. A good primer can make your skin glow, matte or just plain look better that it was before. In this review I will be discussing essence's new spray primer. It is called Primer + Studio HD Hydra Primer Spray with Coconut Water.
This primer is a weightless, coconut water-infused primer mist that primes, sets and refreshes makeup. It energizes skin and gives skin that fresh skin feeling. It also contains provitamin B5. After using you will have less visible pores and an even skin tone. Use alone or under makeup.
To use: shake well before use and spray at least 15 cm away from face (about 3 inches away from face) in a circular motion. Make sure to keep eyes and mouth closed when using. If spray gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. This
product is vegan and cruelty-free. It can also be used after makeup to help set it.
Be prepared for longer lasting makeup that that looks better longer. Make sure to use daily and you do not need a lot of spray, just a tiny bit, so that bottle itself (which is tiny) will last a good month or two. I like not having to use a heavy primer over my sunscreen for a change. It is bad enough I have to use a moisturizer, sunscreen and a primer all at once, which makes my skin feel heavy before I put my makeup on. This takes away one of those steps. So I try and use sunscreen/moisturizer too. Then all I have left is foundation and instead of four products I am down to three. Some days I don't even need foundation.
Until Next Time~
