If you have not heard of DECIEM skincare, then you are in for a treat. DECIEM is becoming the HOTTEST brand around because they focus their products around one-two main ingredients and add very little other ingredients, only those that help make the product viable for sale and voilà, have the perfect product. And their prices are extremely reasonable. Especially for Americans shopping in Canada, where our dollar is about 30% higher than the Canadian dollar is right now (July 14, 2019).
Today I would like to discuss one of their products that is devoted to acneic skins, their Salicylic Acid 2% Masque. It contains the following: activated charcoal, kaolin clay, salicylic acid and phytic acid. Activated charcoal absorbs sebum, and helps kill acneic skin bacteria. The kaolin helps absorb sebum from the pores (hair follicles), exfoliates the dead skin cells clogging the pores and causes the skin to be much smoother and has more clarity. It leaves skin feeling refreshed. Salicylic acid is an excellent exfoliant, removes the skin cells clogging the pores and kills the acne bacteria that cause pimples. It can be drying to the skin, so use in titrated steps to get used to it or alternate days.

It is definitely one of those masks that you can see. And you might not might wearing it in front of others. I don't. Here is how you wear this mask.
Skin after wearing the masque:
Apply a thin to medium layer to DRY skin around face avoiding eyes, lips and mucosal membranes. It must be on clean, DRY skin. Let sit for no more than 10 minutes at the most. If it becomes uncomfortable, rinse off immediately and talk to a physician. Salicylic acid can cause allergies in some people. If pregnant, ask if this is safe to use. When done, wet skin and scrub then rinse.
If you would like to use this for your wedding, in goodie bags, it makes the perfect summer gift. I find that because my skin, even though it is dry, does have a slight bit of oil product in the summer, which is good. That means my hormones haven't given up yet. Be careful when going out in the sun if you decide to use this product. Or if you are on other acids too. This will give you sun sensitivity and cause you to burn faster than usual.
