TULURA SKINCARE: SKINCARE BY SEASON
($138.00 per duo)
Tulura Skincare is different from other skincare brands you will find. This brand bases its skincare routines on one thing: the seasons. They have a skincare kit for the Cold Season and the Warm Season. There is one cleanser, a Revealing Botanical Oil Cleanser. In each skincare kit for the season there is a Vitamin Peptide Serum and a Botanical Facial Oil. I received the Warm Season to try out since it is summer now. TULURA does not animal test, use parabens, fragrances, synthetic preservatives and no weird chemicals. Their products are made with vegan, cold pressed, unrefined ingredients.

This cleanser is a 2-in-1 makeup remover and gentle cleanser for all skin types. It is one of the very few cleansers that has been formulated with salicylic acid. Add the addition of tea tree oil to help remove dead skin cells and keep acne bacteria at bay. I like how it lifts away makeup, impurities like pollution, dirt and excess sebum. This cleanser leaves skin feeling moisturizes without an oily residue on the skin. Another great thing about this cleanser is that there isn't any water in it. TULURA does not use any water in their products.

I love this cleanser because it really gets my face clean and lifts away dead skin cells, makeup and all impurities while leaving it feeling fresh, soft and smooth. The salicylic acid is a good ingredient to have because it is soluble in oil and is a great exfoliant. Not only that but it kills bacteria. So does Tea Tree Oil. Tea Tree Oil is an antiseptic. It kills bacteria, gets rid of sebum and helps with acne. These two ingredients will keep acne at bay and help keep your skin looking good all summer long.

The Vitamin Peptide Serum contains eight botanical extracts and five powerful peptides that combat the signs of aging in their best selling blend. With hydrating hyaluronic acid, free radical eradicators like Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid. There is also exfoliating AHA lactic acid. All in a lotus water base. The serum sinks into the skin immediately and nourishes instantly. It is also pH balanced so you can skip the toner. This serum is for every skin type, even acneic skins.

I love this serum. It makes skin feel like silk and helps it look amazing. I like how it exfoliates lightly with the lactic acid to help make the skin more prepared for the Vitamin C and Ferulic acid, which help brighten up the skin, get rid of free radicals and even out skin tone. Hyaluronic Acid helps to plump up the skin and make it feel soft and look beautiful.

The final step in the 3-step system is the Botanical Facial Oil. It may seem like something heavy, but it actually is not. You need the oils to keep your skin balanced and protected. It provides a nurturing blend of hemp, marula and tamanu oils to soothe and moisturize the skin. Essential oils of rose, neroli, mandarin and helichrysum come together to provide a therapeutically uplifting scent to start and end the day. This oil is especially good for oilier skin types, anyone who prefers a lighter oil that sinks into the skin leaving it hydrated.

This oil is amazing. It smells divine and goes on incredibly well and just sinks right into the skin without any residue left over. Skin feels good and looks good. This is good for all skin types, even acneic skin. It is definitely a good decision to use this with sunscreen during the day, as this does not provide sun protection at all. After using this oil and letting it soak in, please use at least a SPF30 during the day.
