I love doing my makeup, but I absolutely hate cleaning my brushes. It's like I don't mine wearing my clothes and doing the laundry but I absolutely hate ironing my clothing. There are just a few things that I do not like to do.

Enter Beautyblender Instaclean. This wonderful cleaner actually cleans brushes and sponges instantly and has them ready to use immediately and then you can use them right away for putting on makeup. It is sort of like dry cleaning for makeup brushes and sponges. This product is great when you do not have the time to perform a full cleanse on a product. No problem at all. Instaclean is like a dry shampoo for your hair, except for brushes and sponges. This fast-drying spray spot cleanser cleans your beautyblender or makeup brushes, without rinsing. The quick change spray allows you to switch from one product to the next for a true-to-color application every time, from foundation to blush and everything in between. The travel-friendly size allows you to keep your tools clean, no matter where you are or where you're going.

Here are some photos I took. The first one is of my makeup brushes when they were dirty. Sorry it is a little blurry, I must have shook my hand when I took the pictures and didn't realize it until after they were clean. Then the next one is after I applied the Beautyblender Instaclean Brush Spray:

I am assuming that the product works similar to dry cleaning. The ingredients in this are quick drying and clean the brushes instantly. The ingredients are as follows: isododecane, cydopentalaxane, cydahexaslaxene, lavandula angustuffala (lavender) oil geraniol, limanene and linalool. The only natural ingredient I recognize in there is lavender oil. I am thinking the rest of the ingredients are similar to dry cleaning solvents that whisk away dirt and dry quickly. That does not mean they are bad for you.

When cleaning your brushes or sponges, use a tissue underneath them to catch the extra spray and to actually clean the brushes on. I would not personally use this for sponges as I find washing them with the original beautyblender cleanser works better and doesn't use up too much product. If you are out somewhere and don't have access to water then by all means clean them with the brush spray. This product works quite well and brushes are easily cleaned by the solution. I would use this again and again. I think the price point is a little high, I would prefer this small amount be around $12, and have a larger bottle for $20. My brushes got really clean from using this product though and I feel good for having chose this.
