Pixi Beauty has been one of my favorite lines since it came out. The line always makes you feel beautiful and it is a great line for a mass market cosmetics line. When they decided to expand into skincare, I was very excited because I thought that it was a natural move for the line to take. One of their most popular products is Pixi Beauty Skintreats Glow Mist. And if you read below I will tell you why it is so popular.

Glow Mist is more than just a makeup setting spray, although it is a makeup setting spray first and foremost. It gives a glowing, luminous and smooth complexion upon application. It is enriched with 13 natural oils, propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts. It hydrates, protects and nourishes the skin. Not only that but it sets makeup and adds a dewy finish and protects skin from free radicals and pollution all day long. It also helps to refresh makeup, hydrates the skin during the day and adds a healthy glow. What is wonderful about Glow Mist is that is suits all skin types, even acneic skin. It is non-comedogenic and has not been tested on animals. This product can be used with makeup or on bare skin as a spritz to hydrate the skin after cleansing, before applying your skincare regimen.

I mentioned it had 13 different oils in it. That includes: olive oil, safflower seed oil, avocado oil, evening primrose oil, jojoba seed oil, macadamia seed oil, rose flower oil, argan oil, thyme oil, clove oil, tea tree leaf oil, vetiver root oil, lavender oil, lemon peel oil and orange peel oil. The rose flower oil helps to soothe and hydrate the skin. Most of the oils also help to hydrate the skin. Lemon peel oil and orange peel oil are more acidic and actually help to fight off acne. As does tea tree oil. Lavender oil calms and soothes the skin. The propolis extract has antioxidant properties. It helps protect against free radicals, including pollution.

To apply, make sure to shake well, as this is a dual-phase product. It can be used in the morning or evening. Close eyes and mist over face, neck and hair. It works very well as a makeup setting spray.

Personally, I love the way this product works as a setting spray. If you want a dewy effect to the skin, this is the setting spray you would want to use. However, if you are looking for something matte, this is not the answer. Glow Mist provides a dewy effect to the skin.

Pixi Beauty Skintreats Glow Mist retails for $15.00 and can be found online at www.pixibeauty.com, www.target.com and Target stores.
