CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser is ideal for removing excess oil, dirt, and makeup but it's important to choose a formula that won't disrupt the skin's natural protective barrier. It’s also beneficial to choose a gentle cleanser with ingredients that help maintain a moisture balance. This cleanser is hydrating in nature but it foams. It was developed by dermatologists. This unique formula has 3 essential ceramides that cleanse, hydrate and help restore the protective natural barrier to the skin. This cleanser also has the MVE Delivery Technology for a controlled release all day long. Hyaluronic acid helps restore moisture to the skin, it's fragrance free to keep it easier on the nostrils and definitely non comedogenic. It also has Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) in it to keep skin calmer and less red. This cleanser can even be used on acneic skin. It is for normal to oilier skins. Just not 'really' dry skins. CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser features ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to help reinforce the skin’s barrier, attract hydration and soothe the skin.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser was developed with dermatologists to deeply cleanse, remove excess oil and refresh the skin without over-stripping it or leaving it feeling tight and dry. Featuring three types of essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, this gel-based foaming cleanser is an effective yet non-irritating way to start off any skincare regimen for normal to oily skin. Hyaluronic acid attracts hydration to the skin's surface and helps the skin retain moisture. Niacinamide helps the skin barrier and calms the skin. Ceramides are essential for healthy skin, they help restore and maint the skin's natural moisture barrier.

I like this cleanser because it foams (my preference) and it is thorough. I like to use cleansers that are gel like because I feel they can remove impurities, debris, makeup and pollution better than a creamy cleanser can and I can handle this with my skin. This is recommended for normal, oily and even acneic skins. This should not be use on extremely dry skin.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Wash retails for $14.64 and can be purchased online at www.amazon.com and in mass market retail stores such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, CVS, Target and Walmart.
