Exuviance Daily Acne Peel is a great product if you have mild to moderate acne. It contains 2% salicylic acid, which is a mild exfoliant and anti-bacterial agent. Salicylic acid is fat soluble, which is why it works so well with sebum, which is the oil produced on the skin. This means it is going to get rid of dead skin cells clogging your pores and help to kill the bacteria causing your acne. With Daily Acne Peel you should start to see results in 1-2 weeks. I found this product to work best this way. I experience my acne on my chin, which is hormonal in nature. I use as a monthly prophylactic, starting prior to my cycle. I only need it during certain times but most people will need it as a preventative, and will have to use it all the time to keep acne at bay. Acne is a complicated disorder of the skin and not everyone experiences it the same way. This product works well for blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. I do not think it works well for cystic acne, which requires a dermatologist's care, as those can cause scarring. It also contains citric acid and tartaric acid. Citric acid comes from lemons and helps to lighten skin discolorations while tartaric acid comes from fruit such a grapes and is also an exfoliant that helps to clear up dead skin and unclog pores. It gets rid of irritation and lightens up discolorations.

This product should be used daily, up to 3x a day as tolerated. If skin starts to dry out, drop down to 1-2x a day. Apply on clean, dry skin. Start off at least 1-2x a a day and work up to 3x a day if that works best for you. Apply with a cotton pad, not with your fingers. You may experience more breakouts at first as skin starts to clear up, don't be discouraged. Skin will clear up quickly. DO NOT USE other topical acne products while using this product, as can cause irritation.

I have struggled with ice-pick scars for years, and I was hesitant to try any treatment because I didn't want to waste money on something that wouldn't work.
