I have loved LUXIE Brushes ever since I received a small set of them in a BoxyCharm subscription box. So I feel very lucky that I was able to try out a set to review. The brushes are absolutely the best vegan brushes I have ever used.

Launched in 2014, LUXIE's signature Rose Gold collection features premium soft, synthetic bristles encased in a rose gold ferrule atop a chic pink handle. Their brushes are perfect for any makeup lover. With a wide array of cosmetic tools, they have grown into a global brand. Headquartered in San Jose, California, they offer a full array of cosmetic tools to North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The high-quality synthetic makeup brushes are entirely vegan and cruelty-free and built from the best components sourced from around the world. LUXIE coordinates with exceptional retailers, influencers, and partners, who share their core values and authentic passion for amazing beauty products. They are constantly innovating, striving to deliver flawless perfection.

With the LUXIE Eye Essentials Set, you can create a variety of eye looks. From a classic smokey eye to the perfect winged eyeliner, this versatile kit will have you covered for all your favorite eye looks.
Housed in their signature Rose Gold brush line, it features premium soft, synthetic bristles encased in a rose gold ferrule atop a chic pink handle. These brushes are not only functional, but a beautiful addition to your vanity. Set includes:
  • The Luxie 207 Medium Angled Shading Eye Brush. Use this angled brush to define your crease area or to blend out the outer corners of your eyes for a smoky look.
  • The Luxie 215 Small Angle Eye Brush. Use this firm, dense brush with cream or powder eyeshadow to perfectly line your eye or create the perfect wing. You can also use it to fill in your brows with your favorite powder or pomade.
  • The Luxie 221 Flat Definer Brush. Use this brush to smudge out your bottom and top lash lines with powder or cream products.
  • The Luxie 231 Small Tapered Blending Brush. Use this small brush to create depth and definition in the crease and outer corners while still blending out harsh lines.
  • The Luxie 235 Eye Blending Brush. Use this blending brush to apply and blend out cream or powder eyeshadows in your crease.
Here is a bright look I did with the LUXIE Eye Essentials Set: I started with BECCA COSMETICS ZERO No Pigment Virtual Foundation. Then I used the BH Cosmetics Sweet Shoppe Eyeshadow Palette in Cotton Candy. Starting with Light ‘N Airy on the lids. Swirl above the lids and Sugar Plum lining the lower lids. Twirl above above Swirl in the crease and Sugar to highlight. For liquid eyeliner I used UZ Eye Opening Eyeliner in Pitch Black and Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Brag Volumizing Mascara. On my cheeks I used the Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette and Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Royal Armour on my lips.

Here is a second look I did with the LUXIE Eye Essentials Set: I started out with FENTY BEAUTY PRO FILT’R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 120. Then
BH Cosmetics Sweet Shop Orange Sherbet Eyeshadow Palette. First I used Extra Toppings in the crease and to line the bottom lid and Chocolate Drizzle below to give depth to the crease.  Citron was used on the lid and Yum as a highlight. To line my eyes I used tarte Tarteist double duty eyeliner (the liquid side) and HUDA BEAUTY Legit Lashes Mascara. On my cheeks is NABLA SKIN GLAZING Truth and finally on my lips is NYX Cosmetics Lip Lingerie Glitter in Shy & Euro Trash.

How do I feel about this brush set? I really love this brush set. The brushes are so easy to use and they lay down shadow on the lids like a dream with very little fallout. Also, the brushes blend like a dream. LUXIE makes my favorite brushes and they are just not only beautiful but extremely functional as well. Plus the price point is exceptional. One does not have to pay an arm and leg for a decent, long lasting brush set. IF you take care of these they will last you forever. To clean your brushes, I would recommend a brush cleaner, such as LUXIE Quick Brush Wipes ($12.00) or a wash of baby shampoo and water mixed together but only clean the bristles. Do not put the ferrules and handles in the water as the glue will come loose and your brushes will crack and come undone. Clean your brushes once a week at least and they will last you a lifetime. Cleaning your brushes is very important to prevent bacteria from building up on the bristles, which can cause eye infections and blemishes.

The LUXIE Eye Essentials Set retails for $45.00 and can be purchased online at www.luxiebeauty.com.
